  1. Prince vs. lefties on the other hand . . . . 12-36
  2. is it warm in Milwaukee tonight? she just did the moose arms on Gorzelanny in mid pitch.
  3. Schroeder just said "Jenkins has put some good AB's against LH this year" he's 2-14 do these guys get stats in the booth?
  4. got the mlb tv package for the month of may so i actually get to watch today don't blow it!
  5. Don't tell me. You're wearing red, right? Ha! Yeah, he's the white guy. Not doing much with his hands.
  6. This Brewer note from BP's Kevin Goldstein . . .
  7. Have I missed why Cain missed the double header last night? Nothing too serious I hope.
  8. Does this mean that Gillespie, who is more than a year older than Chuck REALLY sucks? I think that Reid Nichols has a plan to keep some of the latino kids at the same level, and we would all agree that Escobar wasn't ready for advancement, so why not let Fermaint hang out in Florida with Escobar and Parejo at least until Ford is healthy? Also I think the CF thing seems to be important. Stupid Steve Moss!
  9. apparently that "gonzo . . gonzo . . .gonzo" chant never gets old. classy.
  10. I would like to mention that this is the thread that brought me back. This was a good discussion and one that she be revisited often when more information becomes available. As far as Jack Z's ability goes I always look at where he failed. Krynzel, Josh Murray, Eric Thomas (x2), and yes Mark Rodgers. It would appear that his weakness is that he "wishcasts" a little too much in the higher rounds. When the Canadians came on board what changed? DFE's became more to the forefront. Anything else? Watching him build the Padres system from scratch I still believe that Grady Fuson is the best with Logan White quick on his heels, but their "philosophy" isn't all that different from the Brewers. Now watching Dayton Moore build the Royals as the good 'ol Braves West, is going to be fun.
  11. Nook Logan got robbed.
  12. I gotta say I never obsessed about the minors till Nillson hit .400 at El Paso and Jaha won the triple crown at Stockton. But really who's favorite ISN'T Bucky Jacobsen. Impossible not to like that guy.
  13. Wow, that move actually excites me. Mojica appears one you can actually root for rather than just watch.
  14. Or Lima. Word. Then again Aaron Sele was effective for the Dodgers for about a month and a half last year.
  15. Ran, The Hidden Fortress, The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Ikiru, Rashomon, Throne of Blood, Stray Dog, and High and Low might be better choices though I finally watched my Criteron version of Ikiru and was actually disappointed. It was a much longer cut (and sometimes needlessly longer, the hooker girls sining Rosemary Clooney was not in the version I had on VHS) For everybody's starter in Kurosawa I would suggest BOTH Yojimbo and Sanjuro, since they are the two most influenced and influential to western films that there are things in them that somebody coming to them will relate to. Throne of Blood is also a great place to start. captured by Altman's zoom lens Which is HIS Kurosawa influenced trait.
  16. Kevin Goldstein: Traitor. He Talks Chuck up all year then lists Cain and Gillespie but not my boy. Viva Le Fermaint!! Must be Chuck's .160/.240/.250 line for Ponce in Puerto Rico He's just lying in wait!
  17. this appears to be a go now . . . seattlepi.nwsource.com/ba...ari07.html ughhh . . .that Bavasi is a genius I tell you.
  18. Let's stay on target people. But my sarcasm didn't go in, it just impacted on the surface. Red 5 you're up!
  19. Al Gore never said he invented the internet. I blame Rush Limbaugh for your dumb political remarks. No but he's actually responsible for helping the teams who created the internet . . . Yeah and yo Al! Shout out thanks for all the Porn, Al's Blog and guys calling me dumb on Bulletin Boards! Way to legislate man!
  20. M's are denying this one. www.thenewstribune.com/sp...8455c.html the internet is OUT-of -control!! I blame Al Gore. Edit: But for fun, look at the response from USS Mariner before they knew it was false . . . ussmariner.com/2006/12/06/ugh/#comments
  21. If he can defend like Yuniesky can, I'd be fine with him hitting 8th for a long time (if he hits like Betancourt, that is) Betancourt out .OPS'd Bobby Crosby by about 80 points there Bretthttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif I just hope this is better than when the Brewers signed Takahito Nomura to try to copy the Mariners success.
  22. It'd been a while since "Worse site ever" anyway. Man I always miss out on the good stuff. Dave Cameron of USS marinier did recently mention this siye as one of the best what is up with that? ussmariner.com/2006/10/18...ded-blogs/
  23. "hey you a Brewer's fan? I'm Ryan, Ryan Braun." Damn, that never happens to me! Of course I get "You a Brewers fan? for god sakes WHY?" Location, Location, Location.
