    I have meetings all morning so I'm going to miss the first three rounds or so live for the first time in years. I'm hoping hor Maybin, but Tulowitzki is an interesting choice if the rumors around here are correct and the M's go Clement at #3 hoping for a quick fix. LET"S GO JACK Z!!!

    It was about this time last year when we first started hearing Rogers' name being linked to the Brewers, much higher than any draft board had him. Perhaps the draft goes as expected above us (Upton, Gordon, Tulowitzki, Zimmerman) and he skips Maybin for "makeup" reasons If Jack again goes "off the chart" who do you think it'll be? Andrew McCutchen? Jay Bruce? My guess? Justin Bristow

    I'm sure Boras did his homework to gauge if there was any interest to match that kind of money from other teams, and when they found there was none, they took the money being offered. Yeah the one thing you can't say about the guy is that he's not dumb. While Drew got exactly what he wanted (more than Weeks' $4.85 Mil), Weaver has to be considered a win for the Angels. 1-1, that's better than MLB does usual against Boras.

    Even with the increased budget I doubt that the words "Scott Boras Client" will describe any of our early draft picks.

    That's the first time that I've seen Tulowitzki's name that high. If Maybin's there, I can't see us not picking him.

    I had no idea John Wasdin was still alive. Weeks busy sticking a fork in him to make sure. Would be nice if Prince got in on it.
