  1. Prince needs a day off. He looks like he did in his first few games of the season right now.
  2. It just can't happen again, right??? WRONG....GEOFF JENKINS IS MY HERO!
  3. You know, one of these days we're gonna go down in order with the game on the line. The comeback pace we've been on is ridiculous. It just can't happen yet again.
  4. Has anyone ever been dropped off the all-star team before?
  5. What do you get when a fastball hitter faces a pitcher who can't throw anything but fastballs? Turnbow is flat out HORRIBLE right now.
  6. Wow, that was one heckuva double play. That ball was ticketed for center field when it left the bat.
  7. We better win this one now, I sure don't trust D-bow for another inning.
  8. Great line by the Reds announcer...."Turnbow looks like a Roman candle out there: it comes out 95 mph and you have no idea where its gonna go."
  9. That was vintage Geoff Jenkins in the field. Doing his best impression of Superman to rob the Reds. Of course it doesn't matter unless Turnbow finds his touch again.
  10. LaRue looked like he leaned his hand right into that pitch. It was only about 2 inches inside. Tough break.
  11. Can someone tell me why the Reds weren't bunting with Kearns?
  12. Wise is like Turnbow in that he can't locate his pitches.
  13. I could see some fireworks in the ninth. We're deep in the pen and you know what that means. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  14. And for the second day in a row we decide to leave the bats in the dugout after we score a few during one inning. What gives??? The pen isn't gonna keep puttin' up 0's for long.
  15. Man, only 92 pitches for Ramirez. You'd think that with the Reds pen our main objective at the plate tonight would be to take pitches and work the count.
  16. For those with MLBtv, I live in downtown Milwaukee and for whatever reason I'm able to pick up the game online tonight. Worth a shot if you've got it.
  17. Come on Billy...all we need is a basehit. No strikeouts. BTW....StL is down 13-3 to Atlanta and the Cubs are up 1-0 on Houston (although I'm sure the Cubs will blow it).
  18. Let me just say that Rickie Weeks turns a double play as fast as anyone in baseball.
  19. Wow, Steve Phillips spent about two full minutes during the Indians/Yanks game talking about how the Brewers are his second half surprise. He cited that we're getting Sheets/Ohka back soon, we have a fantastic young player named Billy Hall, we have good pitchers in the pen that just haven't pitched well, 22 come from behind wins at home....only thing we need to improve on is defense. And after he was done talking about the rest of the NL central he said he looks for the Brewers to push StL for the division! Go CREW!
  20. LOL....Jim Powell: "No reason Fielder can't lift and seperate here."
  21. Nice job Carlos. 3-0! 1-2-3....we want more!!!
  22. Link to Reds message board: The only team whose fans think their pen is worse than ours! Man, if you combine the Reds/Brewers bullpens there's enough gasoline to end the gas shortage.
