    Funny you mention an infatuation with players. Cue Jeff Bennet's entry and subsequent two run homer. Why is Yost obsessed with this guy? He's been proven ineffective, and I would think that being a Rule 5 he would be used more sparingly. Don't get me wrong, Sheets had to come out, but why Bennet?

    The umpire was terribly inconsistent, with regards to both teams. It was ridiculous. If you're going to have an awkard zone, fine, but keep it the same throughout the game.

    Two runs after 2 2/3, coming in with the bases loaded and 1 out. I'll take that, even if it's not the best. I know they weren't charged to him.

    Sitting here in the seventh inning, Grieve has an OPS of .903. Not bad.

    I'm glad Kinney gave up a hit, the Brewers don't deserve to have a no-hitter, much less a victory, after walking so many. Not to mention the three almost-homers caught at the wall.

    Obermueller should be designated to the bullpen. Did anyone see the splits on 1st/2nd/3rd time through the order? Not very good. I like the guy, and I think he could succeed quite well in the bullpen

    Wes Helms comes in to drive Moeller in! And of course he totally fails, making an out on the second pitch. This whole series has me quite frustrated.

    Davis seems to be a high WHIP pitcher that still manages mediocre outings, which of course is excellent for a brewers pitcher. They are loading the bases with zero outs to face Overbay, our hottest hitter. Risky maneuver. Bases loaded, zero outs and we only get one run. Disappointing.

    I know Wes Helms is an easy target right now, but he seriously needs to get things going. It's embarrassing. I like the guy and I hope he can work through this. Tied up! 7-7
