    don't see a real advantage to trading Hall unless you are going to get a quality pitcher/pitchers. Pencil in Bill at 3rd base. I believe Bill Hall will have a very good year.

    Possibly it has been said before...doesn't it seem a bit crazy that the country/world is suffering through economic crisis and the New York Yankees (the posterchild for spoiled rotten little rich kid owner) spends a crazy amount on a pitcher. Don't get me wrong. Sabbathia is an outstanding pitcher, but isn't 150MM just insane. People are struggling to make ends meet and the Yankees are throwing around money. Maybe I am wrong.

    My wife will order steaks and pork chops. The steaks are outstanding and as it was said in a previous post, the hot dogs are huge. They come well packaged and I haven't had a average piece of meat yet from OS. Well worth trying it at least once.

    Although getting Sabathia for the balance of the year would be awesome and tee off alot of Cub fans, I just don't like renting players. Fielder being traded would suck, but what can you do if he wants to go into the open market. Lastly....Remeber last year how the announcers were saying that Prince was the leader in the clubhouse and very respected. Your not hearing that at all this year.

    Correct me if I am wrong. But isn't Rickie and Prince real tight. Isn't Rickie one of Prince's kids Godfather? I don't feel either way about it, but aren't you going to alienate one of your best players by trading his best friend? I know Prince hasn't had the greatest year, but before the season, he was our premier player. Just throwing it out there for thought.

    I believe Doug realizes, unlike many of the posters, that the season is early. Way too early to panick. Here is my point.... Take a look at the top 3 teams in our division. look at the each clubs home and away games played so far. Here, let me help: Cards home: 21 games away: 12 games Cubs home: 17 games away: 15 games Brewers: home: 13 games away: 18 games The Brewers have been playing away from home a great deal. And our record away from home is better than in years past. Lastly, this is professional baseball, not fantacy baseball. It takes agreat deal more to move ball players around, verses callin up you buddy and trading. Friends, relax and enjoy America's pasttime.

    Waffle fry nachos in a helmet is very cool except when the fan sitting behind me comments " they put alot of cheese on my nachos" and then drop a waffle fry on my brand new Braun retro jersey.

    Friends, I would be very disappointed if the Brewers moved to Florida. My wife and I will be moving to Mexico in the next couple of years and had plans to hang out in AZ and attend spring training. Heck, I was even thinking of seeing if I could get a part-time job at the stadium. Oh wait, I was thinking about MY WIFE getting a job and have me lounge around the park talking smart. My vote is: DON'T MOVE!!!!!

    You can never have enough pitchers. When Spring Training started, we had a boat load and we were talking trading. Another very good move by Doug. Is Weaver going to be the ace of the staff .....No....but he maybe able to eat up some innings later on. And that is why we got into the mess we did last year, we wore out our pitching staff. I agree with the Kapler comment. How many of us were jumping for joy with his signing. Not me. Looks like a very good signing now. Can't wait for the PA announcer to announce " now pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers, Jeff Weaver" then the song Dream Weaver starts to play and we all sing. AHHHHHHHH In Doug we trust

    Or Seth McClung, which sounds like a character in a old western TV series. I think your right about Turnbow pitching today. Miller Park will be packed. It will be interesting how he is greeted.

    Very happy with the bullpen the first 5 games. Things can change, I know. But with the maturity of the pen, I think it will be less likely. You bet, there will be those days. As for Turnbow.....Odd that we have not seen much of him. Possibly he is an option to trade and the Brewers are waitng for Gallardo to get healthy and they need a spot.

    I loved the balloon pantaloons. My opinion is: " less friction on those mamouth legs, will make Prince faster"
