Going to the opener and I was wondering if anyone knew when Miller Park gates will open. We want to see batting practice and can't wait to see the Park again....
I hope Pedro continues his ticket giveawayshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Sorry guys, couldn't help but think of our generous Pedro who gives away tickets periodically. Thanks again Pedro,
Booing is bush and it is never appropriate to boo your team. Not appropriate ever.....Well, you can boo Zambranohttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Monday will be my Birthday and my birthday wish is that the Brewers have a 6 run first inning. Zambrano gives up homeruns to Prince and Braunie and his famous attitude shows up. Good time was had by all. Oh yah, BREWERS WIN.
Now I am not one to remember alot of what is said throughout last season. BUT, I do remember Kruk saying at the All-Star break that he thought that the Pirates were really going to be coming on and would contend. So I am feeeling pretty good about his pick of the Cubs.
What I like about the Attanasio's is that Marks' dad belts out the national anthem and Debbie sits next to Mark living on every pitch. How the heck did Milwaukee ever get this lucky? the Selig's picked the right family. This Bud's for you
I guess Stonie either needs to be drug tested like the balance of the Cubs, or his last name is indicative of what is in his head. Lastly, ESPN must have had a non-news day when they have to resort to Cub stories in Feb.
I have had this flu for 5 days. Just starting to feel better now. I have coughed so hard that I now have to hold onto my top stomach area being afraid that I am going to get a hernia. Eyes burn......I found placing a cold towell over my face before I go to bed at least helps getting some sleep. Hey, no jokes about the herniahttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
My vote is for the movie, The Professional. Jean Reno is an outstanding hit man and Natalie Portman shows at a early age what she is capable of in adulthood.
I ate some cereal and it stayed dow. This is day 2 of the flu for me. But on a brighter note: As I was sitting in my chair coughing out a lung, I peered out the window and there in the tree was a chubby Robin! Spring, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH If I hadn't gotten the flu, I would have missed the first sign of spring.
Just saw Atonement, my wife made me go, and it was disturbing. Surprising, Juno was great. As for there will be blood, I was going to see this movie, as I appreciate DDL acting skills. Thanks for the review
Ball Four and Catcher in the Wry. Loved it when Uek wrote: The guy was so ugly that his face looked like it was once on fire and they put out the fire with track shoes.
I have heard how Cub Fans are rude. Lets show some class here Brewer fans. I was watching when Soriano came up lame going to 3rd base. My first reaction was bad news for the Cubs. That is part of the game, injuries. My point.....Lets not lower ourselves to those immature comments that we all complain about from overzealous Cub fans. SHOW SOME CLASS.
You know what it is? All Star Jinx Cappy....crap second half last year Turnbow....The same This year Hardy.....slump Sheets...Disable list CoCo....multiple blown saves Fielder....Not hitting like he did before, but still doing well. Home runs have dropped off.
Brynes runs like a jackrabbit.....gets on base....and if the D-Backs traded by far there best everyday player, there fans would go crazy. Brynes isn't going anywhere....If they pay Doug Davis that kind of money, they will pay Brynes at the end of the year.
I was listening to a area sports radio show and they were commenting on how Brewer fans just look at the darkside of a current great season. Yesterday we had the best record in the National League. But still the " henny penny's" continue to see the bleek side of a nice season. Sure I would like to win all the games. But that is not practical. Do I still cringe when our pitchers can't throw a strike....hitters can't move baserunners.....when secondbasemen knock the stuffing out of catchers at a play at the plate. OH, wait.....I didn't cringe at that. I jumped to my feet and loved it. I love the fact that we are living the promise. The kids have arrived and attendence is skyrocketing. We are the FOX game of the week and I for one am thrilled. Maybe I am just getting old ( if 52 is old ). But I have waited along time for the Brewers to be competitive. And that moment has arrived. My suggestion: RELAX and enjoy the moment.
When Mark A first bought the Brewers, he was everywhere. On the radio....in the newspapers....broadcasted games. You always saw he and his family at the games. I for one miss his excitement, but I also appreciate Mark sitting in the backround letting the men and women he hired do there job.
I would usually watch about the first 3-4 innings and turn it off. But I have to admit that I am excited to see that big lug Prince Fielder start. If we saw that big goofy grin of his in the past, wait until the Allstar game. His grin will be ear to ear. As will all the fans that sat at there computer voting for him and his teamates. It is great that the promise of the guys in the minors sooner or later showing up is starting to produce. I, for the first time in years, will be watching, even more proud to be a Milwaukee Brewer fan. Our moment is arriving. GO BREWERS
It is MY HOPE that TGJ shows up in Washington and plays outstanding defense and has a hot bat. That is what the Brewers need right now. They need a spark. He fits well in the clubhouse and I for one hope he does very well. GO BREWERS
