You're thinking of the Flying Walendas of trapeze artist legend. But maybe the Walendas have a catcher in the family, I'm not sure. But with all the pressure to be a trapeze artist, how much hope would a Catching Walenda have?

I think the key is for the Brewers' lineup to be patient and get Wood's pitch count up. The Scrubs seem to have used their bullpen a bunch in the first few games and they've been unimpressive. The Crew has done a good job with working pitchers so far - on opening day, Perez was in the 80's with number of pitches early in the 5th inning even though the game was still close at that point. Cappy just needs to relax, stay loose, and continue to do what he did this Spring. I really thought he'd surprise people last year, but I believe it more this year. He's just gotta stay healthy and he'll make the Brewers' 1-3 pitchers as good as any. Let's get another win and ruin the home opener for the Scrubs! Fuel the rivalry a bit. GO CREW!

Lack...of....information...and ....insight...disturbingly.........disturbing. I'm realizing how much I love this site now that I can't access the forum. I am getting a lot of work done today, though....

Square, I asked you about 3TO a few days ago and have noticed several people asking what it is. Maybe you can thumbtack a "What is 3TO?" post with that link up there for those who still do not know...but need to. It's not a revolution of the mind like WOAH SOLVD, but it might be worth a thumbtack....just a thought.

Thanks for the explanation Square. Hmm, me likey the 3TO. Maybe that's because I prefer Branyan 5-to-1 over the leading "Yost" brand 3rd-baseman, Mr. Helms. Then again, that seems to be the popular choice among Brewerfan-ites.

Call me ignorant...what are we talking about with this "3TO" ?

RoCo: Good god, this bullpen sucks hardcore. Can we go an inning without allowing a run from the pen? Huh? Can we? Pretty please? ...How about 5? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif

I'm going to go throw up now. Again.

Oh God here come the Pirates again.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif Hold on though- They kind of killed our monemtum with a 4-game sweep of the Crew in 3 days just before the all-star break. Perhaps they can help start a little Brewer resurgence this weekend.....????

The Crew is gonna have to bust ass to have a winning or .500 record at the end of April, but it is do-able. How nice would that be!?!?! It sure sould start to generate some casual fan interest if they can hover near .500 and win some at home near the end of April here... It's nice for them to be able to have a few short home series with a few days off scattered in there to end the month...started off with a long 14-game stratch against some pretty good teams. Can't say as I'm displeased with the 6-8 record so far...just the sometimes shoddy pitching which I expected anyway.

That gun was reading several MPH high today, as I figured it was and Darron and Bill mentioned. Sheets wasn't throwing 96-98. Who cares though? He was focused, pissed, and was flat out dealing!!!! GREAT game to watch, as Sheets was very impressive. Just saw the highlights on ESPN...and I was surprised that they were decidedly pro-Brewer; Showed 6 of Sheets' 10 K, Hems' digger but also his 3-R HR, Pods' 3B error, but also the game-ending DP. A little respect for Sheets and the Crew from SportsCenter. Yes!
