    Well, this is fun.

    Agreed

Would this be a time to bring in Torres in the eighth? Seems like this is the key inning to wrap up this game

Wow, we own the Cardinals this year ... I just hope the Cubs don't say the same thing about us.

We've had 14 hits and 18 base runners today, and only three runs to show for it. Can someone remind Bran, et al. that they're playing the freakin' Pirates at home on Bobblehead Day?

Holy Mota!!!! Now can someone please hit a HR and head to STL with that 3.5 game lead, please ...
  8. Dustin Block
WOW!!! Come on, one more ...
  9. Dustin Block
Does Mota give up the grand slam on the first or second pitch?

    Well, this is fun!

Hi all, This is blatant spam/advertising, but if you get a chance, check out Brew Crew Haiku. It's a website we started this season with the goal of writing at least one haiku for every Brewers game. So far, so good ... here's the haiku from last night's game: So many chances Good thing playing Nationals - Few so forgiving Kapler caps fifth straight No offense Gabe, but wishing Braun was the hero. Speaking of name Gabe: Recall Gross trade to Tampa? .227 So, stop on by, add your own haiku and spread the word. We don't make any money on the site, and really are just having fun with it. Thanks much, BCH

How many quality starts in a row is this? The HRs are nice, but I'm loving the starting pitching. McClung may be legit, and the bullpen is sharp when it's not covering four innings every night. If we get Riske back (and, yeah, Gagne) this team will be better than last year's by at least five games.

I love Torres as the closer. How do you think Gagne (or Turnbow) would have handled back-to-back errors? Even Cordero got flustered if the defense fell apart around him. It's Solomon's job now ... Gagne can eat up innings in blow outs.

    WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! That was so clutch!

Great win! Love to see Dave Bush last night and Suppan tonight coming up BIG. Plus the Cubs are losing 1-0 in the ninth ... great night!
  16. Dustin Block
Love seeing six innings from Charlie V! Let's hope Manny takes a lesson for tomorrow's game ... then Sheets Thursday for the sweep.
  17. Dustin Block
I thought we learned our lesson with Gagne ... sigh

Don't forget: "We'll be fine. Every team goes through these slumps. That's why we play 162 games."
  19. Dustin Block
Seriously. Aside from Sheets and Gallardo, has a starter made it to the 7th inning?
  20. Dustin Block
Anyone else think Yost is gone before the 50th game?
  21. Dustin Block
The starters haven't been terrible ... this series aside, they've done their part to keep the team in games when the offense did nothing.
  22. Dustin Block
This team looks dead since the Gallardo news. Yeah, Yo is great, but he's pitched three games for us this year. Get over it.
  23. Dustin Block
Agreed. I wanted to see Dillon there.
  24. Dustin Block
Why is he swinging 2-0 after the guy walked two batters? So frustrating ...
  25. Dustin Block
I'll admit I wasn't sold on the Cameron-will-save-the-offense idea. But after one night, welcome savior!
