  1. Is there a way I can sort every player in the organization by stats (OBP, OPS, etc.)? Thanks.
  2. I don't quite think he's ready for the ML bullpen, but probably more likely the AAA rotation, considering he hasn't even appeared in a game above AA yet. Looks like a nice pitcher though.
  3. Jim Powell, I lurked for a while, especially during the 2003 season and for the drafting of Rickie. I then made my first post, regarding the Sexson deal about a year ago. It's been a blast ever since - Brian, you rule.
  4. Great quote from Munro: Seems lately us Brewer fans have been saying we've been watching the wrong team at the wrong time, so it's nice to destroy the 'Stros hopes two years in a row.
  5. Obie with a 6-hit CG SO! Brewers WIN!!!
  6. 7 scoreless for Obermueller, wow! This may make two seasons in a row that HE knocks them out of the playoffs. Awesome. EDIT: Ginter-Bomb 8-0 Crew!
  7. Wes is now hitting .400 (14-35). And Krynzel knocks him in 2-0 Crew!
  8. He's always OK for the first 3-5 innings, then the wheels fall off. I'm smelling a ND for him today, then maybe a cameo by Ben Ford or Travis Phelps. Phelps is still there isn't he? When's the last time he pitched (not that I'm complaining)?
  9. In my calculations, Obermueller has started 4 out of 12 Saturday home games this season. I'll work on calculating his stats real quick. Here's the numbers breakdown: 5/1/2004 - Pittsburgh (ND): 3 IP, 5 H, 7 ER, 4 BB, 2 K, 1 HR 5/29/2004 - San Diego (W): 6 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 0 HR 6/19/2004 - Minnesota (ND): 5.1 IP, 9 H, 5 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 2 HR 8/21/2004 - Philadelphia (ND): 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 6 BB, 4 K, 0 HR Final numbers: 1-0 record 19 1/3 IP, 14 ER = 6.52 ERA 1.91 WHIP 14 K / 13 BB 3 HR allowed This doesn't really look like a promising trend, although he always sucks, the team always rallies to his support to get him off the hook.
  10. Back-to-back jacks - good night Crew, thanks Matty Wise.
  11. Hendy is growing before our very eyes, or in today's case, our ears. Good game for him.
  12. I think that the Santos thing is pretty much done, so there should be plenty of room in the rotation for Hendrickson and DLR next year.
  13. http://adv.asahi.com/english/media_kit/media_kit_image/food/hennessy.jpg Vs. http://beer-place.server101.com/miller/mgd_bottle.gif Who will be the victor?
  14. For certain, Batman? I hope they can play it.
  15. I like this lineup, except for Hall, however he has hit Williams fairly well. Game on...
  16. It seems like pitching (starting at least) has stabilized to near the level it was at before - and with Obermueller and Hendrickson pitching well lately - and the bats are coming to life thanks to the resurgence of Podsednik and Jenkins and the return of Ginter. I'm pulling for 76-86 myself, but anything over 70 would probably be gravy.
  17. Fresh off his first great start in a while, against the Pirates last Thursday, Sheeter takes it to 'em again in hopes of wrapping up this series for the Crew in 2 games. In his career against the Bucs, Sheets is 4-6 with an ERA of 3.23. He has K'd 70 men in 92 IP, allowed 94 hits (6 HR) and 21 BB with a BAA of .267. This season, in 4 starts (29 IP) against the Pirates, Sheets has an ERA of 3.41, and 26 K. Facing the Brewers is lefty Dave Williams (0-1, 8.71), whom Sheets defeated last week. In that game, Williams allowed 5 ER in 3.2 IP. In three career starts against the Crew, Williams is 2-1 with an ERA of 6.59 over 13.2 IP. Hall (1/2, HR, 3 RBI), Moeller (2/2), and Jenkins (2/4, 3B, RBI, BB) have had the most success against him. Should be easy pickins tonight for Big Ben and the boys, as they inch closer to 5th place. 18. It's Ben Ford Time!!!! EDIT: 7-4 Brewers - it may be Mike Adams Time now.
  19. Great job by Gary to work out of that jam. Nice start thus far. And a personal note, Jim Powell answered my e-mail for the third time this season last inning - about sabrmetrics.
  20. I think that sounds right, but it leaves two games, so I'd say 76-86. Anyway, electronics whiz Nelson Figueroa is in for the Bucs. EDIT: Another rip for Couns, 7-0 Brewers!!!!!
  21. Couns finally gets a hit.
  22. I have Dish Net. and DirecTV at my house, and my program guide shows the game on the "ESPN2 Alternate" channel. This is where they show the regional games, the channels are 146 (DN) and 211(DTV). The regular ESPN alternate is supposed to have Tigers/Royals on right now, however it is not on because Yankees/D Rays is not on regular ESPN right now and poker is. So, I surmise that if the Cubs game is on the deuce, the Crew should be on the alternate. Hopefully.
