    Two quick points. Read this review of the new career mode in 2K10. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/107/1070564p1.html it sounds pretty decent(i would probably build a closer, just for fun and to break out of the monotony of franchise mode), but it also alludes to another game of arcade-like offense where hitting 80 home runs isn't out of the question. that makes me pretty sad, to be honest, not shocked in the least. Also, what would be a 2k game without a soundtrack? * Black Crowes "Go Faster" * Black Keys "Your Touch" * Black Sheep "The Choice is Yours" * Boss Martians "Hey Hey Yeah Yeah" * Cage the Elephant "Judas" * Daughtry "Every Time You Turn Around" * Hotel St. George "It's the Blues" * Iggy Pop "Lust for Life" * Jet "Start the Show" * LCD Soundsystem "Time to Get Away" * Pearl Jam "The Fixer" * Phoenix "Lisztomania" * Ryan Adams "Magick" * Social Distortion "Bad Luck" * Tantric "Down and Out" * The Sugarhill Gang "Rappers Delight" The one that really stands out to me is the Black Keys. Glad to see them getting some press. Shocked to see this game come out in around 10 days. EDIT: there is also something called "MLB TODAY", in which you play a game that is actually occurring that day. Seems fun.

    OOOverbay, i am pretty much the same way. I usually stick around a month or so after the season, and come back around this time of year. Welcome back buddy.

    Always a class act. I really was disappointed when he signed with baltimore, but i believe it was so he could be closer to his Ill child, which i can respect. He was also elected to the Orioles Hall of Fame, which i didn't know.

    His Minor league stats tend to agree with you. I guess i was just reaching for something positive to say about the cubs future.

    Both prime examples of how the cubs need to infuse some young talent quickly into their organization.

    I agree. Of their "impact" players who is really on the upside of their careers? Soto and Zambrano is the only names i can think of, all the rest are on the wrong side of 30. A-ram is right at, or just beyond his peak, same with Lee. Honestly, if things start going south for them early, i would start trading off pieces(Lee, Aram, Zambrano, Soriano) and try to rebuild quickly.

    1. Jeffress 2. Rogers 3. Lawrie 4. Lucroy 5. Salome I figure my list is similar to alot of the lists on here. But I really want to emphasize Jeffress and Rogers. If we can get a really good year out of the two of them, then our minor league pitching looks a WHOLE lot better.

    Yea, that was a game they really should have won. However, i think i can forgive them if we win the BTT and do well in the NCAAs.

    It's a step in the right direction though. Hopefully if these are popular with the fans then the team will make the move on the Greys as well.
