    I'm not so sure. Until the Brewers make the postseason (as I'm knocking on wood), we have the Brewers (26 year playoff drought), the Bucks (beyond repair), and the UW-Milwaukee Panthers (a very average team in a very bad conference). I wouldn't go so far as to say we're safe -- I think we're just lucky that there are more than five cities that have it worse than we do.

    He seemed to have everything going for him, too. While I don't doubt that drugs played a factor, I just can't believe he would need to turn to them. He's not one of those guys that you look at and immediately assume is strung-out.

    Agreed! Maybe Suppan should give back to the community that has given him so much (literally) and build a restaurant here.

I was very much looking forward to his take on the Joker in The Dark Knight, but now it seems the film will be beset by this very somber event.

    I got a little GP'd last night, but nothing too serious. I had to drown my sorrows away a little bit, but I didn't want to get too crazy for fear of running away from my apartment in a frantic state of fugue in order to escape the pain of last night's loss.

    I just told my roommate that same sentiment. I'm just so disappointed at this point that I can't bare to watch Eli Manning, with his stupid "aw, shucks" demeanor, give idiotic, cliche answers to stock interview questions. Personally, I will be rooting for the Evil Hoodie in the Super Bowl, and I don't even feel bad about it.

    Assassin's Creed is a fun and impressive game, but it's very short. I wish I would have rented it instead of buying it the first day it came out.

    I'm still hungover from New Year's. Started drinking at 4:30 and didn't stop until 6:00 in the morning. Ahhh, making poor decisions... I'm so good at it.

    It might be, but I laughed a lot when I read it. That's almost signature-worthy.

    Beirut is commonly referred to as beer pong at Wisconsin colleges. We college students are too lazy to use paddles to play the "real" beer pong, but we just feel that the phrase "beer pong" is very appeasing, so we apply it to beirut.

    I just laugh at my Cocker when her fur gets snarled because she reminds me of an Ewok and fur snarls just seem to add to that effect.
