  1. Wow. The red hats with our white uniforms looks downright bad. I originally thought the all-red hat looked sharp, but it does not go well with our uniform at all. I guess the only plus that could come from it would be that it is seemingly a major distraction to the other team.
  2. This is really discouraging--both for the Crew and for Rickie. Hopefully we are able to find a way to squeeze similar production from our lineup without Rickie.
  3. This could be the single greatest achievement in film history. In all seriousness, though, I'd probably buy it just to laugh at it with a few friends.
  4. I actually really like it. I try to get it every time I go to the grocery store. It's a really nice lemonade -- the sweetness isn't overpowering.
  5. In fairness, I don't think Wilco tries to do alt-country--their music has transcended that label for about ten years now. I agree, though: there are several bands that are much more in-tune with the alt-country movement than Wilco has ever been. As far as the album cover goes, it's fantastic. I was at the second Wilco show where Jeff said that they may use a photograph taken that day as the cover for their record, but I remained skeptical. It's awesome that they decided to, though.
  6. Wow, that's right by my apartment. I'll have to check that out when I go back to the East Side tomorrow after the game.
  7. My friends and I have always referred to that mix lovingly as "Amnesia" -- mainly because you can become quite intoxicated from it because it's easy to drink and fairly potent.
  8. Well, I'm still in college, so I'll occasionally bring Miller Lite if I'm feeling like treating myself on a light beer, but I usually go for PBR or Keystone - it gets the job done for more people at a lesser price.
  9. I usually find myself parked in front of my television with a plethora of delicious snacks and a few beers, watching the game in all of its non-HD glory on my smallish screen. This year, though, I was lucky enough to get a 9-pack of tickets as a birthday gift from my brothers, so I'll be at the game, tailgating and enjoying the atmosphere of gleeful Brewers fans.
  10. I saw the title and my heart skipped a beat, but I quickly came to realize what day it was. Excellent prank, though. I'm just glad I didn't get RickRoll'd on top of this.
  11. To be honest, OD will probably be a crazy frat party regardless of where you sit. From my experiences in the bleachers, though, it's fairly comparable to the 400 level tickets - you'll have your fair amount of drunk idiots, but also some nice people to sit and talk baseball with.
  12. I took the advice of many players in this thread and stopped using "Guess Pitch" altogether. I've found that I've gotten a lot better at holding off on swinging at the junk pitches. It's helped my play tremendously.
  13. Razzzor, does RE5 kind-of feel more like an action game than a survival horror game? From some of the reviews I've read of it, it sounds like the game's lost a bit of its creepy nature in favor of a more action-packed feel. Either way, I'm planning on buying the game soon -- RE4 is my favorite game of all time.
  14. Just picked up a copy today -- I've got my franchise all set up, and I'm ready to roll.
  15. This is a really impressive haul. You must have had a blast getting all of these autos. They all look really sharp!
  16. Congratulations, SquirrelMaster! That's terrific news. I'm very happy to hear that you're doing well.
  17. I'm going to have to second the "RickRoll" option. A little Astley can go a long way.
  18. I think the most personally-devastating prank was the "Yankee Prankee," but this latest one was hilarious. Even my roommates, who had never heard of the CH prank war and don't frequent the site often, were talking about this video before I brought it up to them.
  19. I'm incredibly tired, so I'll keep it brief for now: it was a visually arresting movie, and the narrative did not stray far, for the most part, from that of the graphic novel. The film as a whole, however, was too schizophrenic, too off-kilter for me to call a good, let alone great, film.
  20. Robert Smith of The Cure (with a different haircut).
  21. Anyone going to a midnight showing? I think I'll be heading to the Oriental tonight.
  22. I've got to be honest: some of those options did not look as bad as what I thought I would see from a blog based on fattening and outrageous food. I'd be interested in at least trying one of the items on that blog - also, I'm interested in the subsequent heart attack I would endure from trying one of the items on that blog.
  23. Darn. I knew it on first look. Kudos to teatoe.
  24. The fact that my professor for my advanced social psych lab gave us only a week of data analysis and two weeks of literature review for preparing a large lab report is really bugging me at the moment, hence why I am here... Not writing it.
