  1. Maybe Melvin and Attanasio aren't that smart to know that Ned should've been gone, after all they were the ones who picked up Ned's $1.1M 2009 option after last year's debacle. Maybe they are still blinded by the "passion" of Yost, or maybe they are blinded by their friendly relationship with Ned and are too nice to fire him.
  2. I'm disappointed that Yost wasn't fired last week, but I'm even more disappointed that Yost wasn't fired last season. Looks like Doug Melvin's intention is to live or die with Yost as his manager, Yost is probably his good buddy. Sadly, the Brewers won't make the playoffs with Yost as their skipper. Yost has never ever manage a team to the playoffs, not even in the minors.
  3. Braun won the ROY award and Prince didn't, so Braun deserves to get more money for year 2 than Prince. To me, the $670k that Prince received for year 3 is a fair amount. If Prince wants to get paid like Howard did as mentioned by his agent, first he should have won the ROY award and next he should have won the MVP award. I find that Prince is a lot more greedy and money minded than Braun, and I'd much prefer to lock up Hart than Prince.
  4. I'm a day late, just wanna say it's a good deal for the Brewers. Braun is a stud and is still improving, he also has very good character and is a good team-mate. Now please let's lock up Hart to a long term deal asap!
  5. Maybe they could make intercoursing make artistic, make it more like a dance or a play. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Or how about intercoursing to classical music?
  6. <--- partner in a satellite telecommunications firm.
  7. I've zero confidence in Yost leading the Brewers to the playoffs ever. Yost should've been gone last season, but for some strange reason he's still around to ruin another season. A change in the team manager would be a step in the right direction for the Brewers. I wouldn't mind seeing Kremblas called up to manage the team for the rest of this season. I beseech the Brewers senior management to fire Yost immediately!
  8. I agree totally, LaRussa is a much better manager than Yost. LaRussa is a much better tactician and he keeps his players fired up to win each game. Yost is a terrible tactician and keeps telling his players to relax until he's blue in the face.
  9. Dear Mark Attanasio and Doug Melvin, please I implore you, fire Ned Yost tonght.
  10. I really hope DM doesn't wait till the team is mathematically out of the playoff race to fire Yost. I really don't understand DM's love for Yost, I think Yost should be fired tomorrow 05/08/08.
  11. Ned said recently when Turnbow was DFA that major league baseball is a performance based business. Despite the huge increases in Brewers player payroll, Ned's track record is still poor, the team continues to flounder and playoffs expectation has become a pipe dream. The team manager has to be responsible and accountable for the team's results. If he can't get the results expected of him, he has to go. Excuses, excuses, it's getting tiresome to hear. If the lost of Yo is that massive, then why bother playing any further, they might as well fold up for the season. At least that will save many fans from spending their hard-earned money and precious time watching the team suck. There's still so many games left to do something and fight for a playoff spot, think I will be sick if DM or Yost use Yo's injury as an excuse for failing to meet playoff expectation at the end of the season.
  12. Dear Doug Melvin, please replace Yost asap. Frankly, you should have done that last season, but instead you picked up Ned's option and "forgot" to tell the media about it.
  13. I do welcome a Sheets extension provided the price and years are right. But considering the number of starts Sheets had missed the last 3 years, I think $16.5M a year is little too steep unless a big part of the money is tied to appearance and performance clauses, and 4 years maybe a little too long.
  14. No way I trade Hart. I'd rather keep Hart and trade Prince for a young stud pitcher, then put LaPorta at 1B. To me, Hart is an equally valuable player as Prince, but under-rated. And the Brewers have a much better chance extending Hart's contract that Prince.
  15. It's been 24 hours since Yo's awful injury news, and I'm feeling even more despondent for the season. That news is like a big kick in the groin, but only worse. I'm not confident the Brewers can make the playoffs now.
  16. 17-12 Edit: After Yo's most unfortunate injury, my optimism is squash... 14-15.
  17. http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll129/tigerbrew/Yo.jpg Go Yo!
  18. I couldn't get up in time to watch today's game and missed it. I usually watch Brewers games that I missed on mlb.tv archive, but I'm skipping this game though. The box score was a big turnoff.
  19. Totally agree, DFA Turnbow please. Demote him to AAA if no one wants him. Callup a power lefty bat in Branyan to replace Gross.
  20. http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll129/tigerbrew/Yo.jpg I can't recall who did this pic, but I like it a lot. Go Yo! Go Brewers!
  21. Dear Doug Melvin, please give Corey Hart a long term contract extension right now. Thanks.
