  1. TJ Maxx usually has some random Brewer gear, too.
  2. Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback. I lived in Portland OR for many years and loved going to Beaver games (Padres AAA). Can't beat the atmosphere. They had Thirsty Thursdays there, too -- must be a minor league staple.
  3. Just sent you a message
  4. So if I was tailgating, I'd get plenty 'you're not from around here, are you' looks? :-) I plan to be out and about more than sitting around a hotel, so I'd prefer well under $100/night, which probably precludes anything in the downtown area. But if there's a cool hotel in the middle of the action, that might be worth it. I like bars with character, where locals hang out. I'd imagine there are some tourist traps in Nashville.
  5. I'm planning a road trip from Milwaukee to visit Nashville and Huntsville this summer to take in a few games when their home schedules coincide. I've never been to either place, so thought I'd see if anyone who's been could offer up some recommendations. Anything I should know about the stadiums? Does anyone tailgate? Best seats? Joe Davis doesn't seem to get much love... Outside of the games, I'm sure I'll find plenty to do in Nashville, but any must see attractions / restaurants / bars / hotel recommendations in either city? Thanks!
  6. If it makes you feel better, Ross, I don't want one. :-) There's one on ebay with a bid of $12 with over a day left. Link You might be sitting on a goldmine.
  7. My wife would kill me, but I would consider a road trip. The Sounds play that weekend, too, so I could leave Friday, drive to Nashville for the Friday night game, then on to Huntsville for this game and back on Sunday. Insane, yes, and more expensive than eBay, but that would be a fun road trip.
  8. I was getting antsy that Huntsville hadn't released their '08 promo schedule yet, so I sent them an email. They responded that they're launching a new website and will post it then, but in the meantime sent me a pdf of it. The only bobblehead is a sweet one: June 7 Ryan Braun Bobblehead If anyone is in the Huntsville area, I'd love to make arrangements to get one, but I've only recently caught bobblehead fever and don't have anything too exciting to trade. However, I should have extras of all three Bucks Legends bobbles (Lanier, Kareem this Friday, Moncrief April 12), and am going to Prince / Braun / JJ / Hart Brewer giveaways this year.
  9. Okay, I guess that was cryptic. Junior Spivey is from Oklahoma City. I'm suggesting to unload them on oklahomacity.craigslist. He'd have the bobblehead market cornered there.
  10. Looks like he's from Oklahoma City... http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=bobblehead
  11. If either would agree to a multi-year deal, Melvin deserves executive of the year. I don't see it happening, but a fair offer would be big money and therefore pretty tempting, especially since there'd still be plenty of free agency left for them. It's seems more likely that Hart would accept one, based on comments he's made recently. I wouldn't rush to lock up JJ... it's hard not to look ahead to Escobar.
  12. 1. Weeks will be the All-Star game MVP 2. Pirates will finish 3rd 3. Corey Hart inks a long-term deal before the end of April Bonus #4: I find a Charlie Moore bobblehead to finally complete my '82 collection
  13. Correction - beers would be on me. Count me in.
  14. Thanks, Pedro - put me down for the drawing please. It's like Christmas in March, complete with snow. Pedro = Santa
  15. Wow - I'm new around here and just looked up last year's spring cleaning - truly amazing. I'd love to toss my name in for the Vuke bobble - thanks!
  16. What a great read- thanks. How is the bullpen looking? Manny Parra?
  17. I placed two separate ticket orders and received two different pocket schedules. The first had Prince on it, but it was a little thicker because it included the spring training schedule. The second had Braun on it, and I'm assuming that's the one that will be in liquor stores, etc.
