  1. Bet the stores at Miller Park will be selling them tomorrow if there are any left. It is a really nice program!
  2. I understand where you are coming from. I have been collecting autographs since 1981 and for about a decade I stepped away from things and didn't do much. The last couple of years I have been having an absolute blast being a "kid" again. Unless you need the money, I would just put them away for a while, let them age like a "fine wine" and in five, ten or fifteen years you may find the passion again, or the memories priceless. Just my two cents..........but I have gotten rid of a lot of stuff over the years that I wish I would have back right now. If you still want to sell them however, I might be in a few pieces depending on what you have.
  3. Unsigned balls from the 82 series have become real tough to find (no longer available from Rawlings) and sell in the $35 range on ebay. If you are looking to start a team ball, you can find some good deals on some balls that have been signed by one of the non-stars in the 25-35 range.
  4. Waukesha Sportscards took part in the same signing and has items left.
  5. I have started to try and put together these sets from the past few years. I was wondering if anyone has put together lists of these cards over the years. I am also wondering if anyone has a signed or unsigned 5x7 "Autograph Friday" style card of Ray Durham that would have been available at the Elm Grove block party back in August. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  6. Still Looking if anyone has one...............
  7. Gallardo, Parra, Suppan, either Kendall or Cameron. If they make the playoffs or win a post season that could change. A sausage and Bernie would also seem to make sense. For the employees, my guess would be a Melvin/Yost combo (which would also be cool for general release at a game). As for Old timers, how about something in 2010 for the 40th anniversary............ One night to celebrate the 70s and you get one of the following: Slaton, Caldwell, Boomer Scott or Money. For the 80s you get an Oglivie, Deer, Higuera or Plesac. For the 90s maybe Surhoff, Vaughn, Nillson 0r Vina. For the 00s possibly Sabathia, Burnitz, Cirillo or Cordero. Just a thought that they could do something like they did with the 3 Younts on one night. It would drive me crazy, but I think it would be fun and a way to do some great names that have yet to have a bobblehead and probably don't deserve a bobblehead day all to themselves. Just a thought!
  8. I have all five of the pictured big head bobbles in this post, but in the WHITE HOME uniforms. I picked up mine (Hart, Hardy, Braun, Fielder) at a shop in Menomonee Falls last summer that deals in bobbles. The old man was kinda grumpy. I believe he said that 680 sets were made, he got 340 and the Brewers got 340. He said the Brewers didn't want the Harts so he had all of those. This year they "rereleased" them in different jersey variations. I never saw the Weeks until year. I just got a white uniform yesterday from mlb.com for 12.99. They also came up with a set of Big Heads for the five sausages. Hope that helps.
  9. Hello All, I REALLY want to get a Huntsville Ben Sheets bobble before his signing on August 20th. If you have one, or an extra, please let me know ASAP! Thanks
  10. Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, if the Brewers are still in the pennant race at the time, I bet you will have to beat the people away with a stick, even at those prices. Remember the throngs of people who showed up 12 years ago for the Packers and their SB run? The prices were equally outrageous (for the time) and hundreds of people would be standing in the cold every Tuesday night to get their stuff signed. I will contemplate getting a couple of things signed (like bobbles) that I don't want to carry to spring training or down to the ballpark all the time. I just don't see him getting any easier and/or having to stand in a line for 5-6 hours to get one thing signed. I think it might just be easier to pay the price and rest assured that my "key" item(s) are done.
