    with sheets' performance today, he jumps to 2nd in the big in strikeouts, 2 behind the big unit. with overbay's performance today, he's still first in 2b by 5 over vinny castilla, 1st in RBI with 2 more than rolen, and 3nd in batting average. i believe they both merit an allstar nod each

    i have to say i hate sutton, but his call of the homer last night was hilarious. couldn't understand the thing he said after he said flyball, but when he shouted "EVERYBODY, GO HOME!", it just made me laugh out loud. funny stuff good for wes, great for the team, back @ .500, let's go slaughter zach day today.

    Davis' Last 2 starts: 5/2/4 vs PIT (L 4-3, 11innings) 7 IP, 11H, 3ER, 1BB, 2K.... all the hits were singles. Tonight 6IP, 6H, 2ER, 1BB, 5K..... all the hits were singles. he hasn't given up an extra base hit in at least 2 starts... and he doesn't walk guys, so you really can't complain about that.

    i fully blame ned yost. what the hell is he thinking? letting overmueller hit with the bases loaded with only a 2 run lead. Wes had nearly 100 pitches already after 6. totally blown move. also helps not to get 3 errors and a wild pitch in 1 inning.
