  1. I don't have kids, but I would think either the terrace level somewhere near the infield, or the diamond level along the right field line would be good. The terrace level has an area right behind homeplate with a play area with all kinds of tubes to crawl around in and ball pits and stuff... probably more geared toward younger kids. The right field diamond level has stuff more geared toward older kids like video games, places to try to outrun a Corey Hart Cutout to first base, Bernie's slide, virtual batting and pitching cages, etc. Also, don't know if you're committed to the 11th, but if you were able to make it on a Sunday, all kids 16 and under get to run the bases (with an adult) after the game. I've always been tempted to borrow someone's kid so I could run the bases also. Check out the Miller Park A to Z guide http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/ballpark/ballpark_guide.jsp#K Look under Associated Bank Kid's Zone, Bernie's Clubhouse, & Kids Base Run.

  3. Very awsome.... I'll guess 8 runs, 11 pitches
  4. I think it boils down to a couple things: 1. Pitchers duels.... the brewers have more times than not come out in front for pitcher's duels which are often 1-0, 2-1, or 3-2. 2. They had a lot of extra-inning games early on which they won most of partly due to having a deep bench and partly due to having a solid bullpen. 3. The bullpen has come through, expecially since Torres has taken over as closer. He's been able to hold a 1-run lead over and over again. 4. The bullpen has blown large leads like the last two gems pitched by Bush. The bullpen became soft until the opponent got within a run, and then started to take the game seriously. Sort of have a Jekyl and Hide thing going on with the pen. 5. And Yost has managed games well when it gets close. I have to admit that TWR actually brought up some valueable points that Yost has made some smart moves at the end of some games. Also its worth noting that if Yost mismanages a game, it will usually be a loss by several runs... lets say it didn't work out to use the IBB on tuesday, and Corky Miller hits a home run... its now a 2-run game for the Braves and doesn't count as part of the 1-run game record (remember the minnesota game that went to 12 innings).
  5. actaully today was the 4th this year. Cubs Apr 3rd, Reds Apr 20th, Pirates May 22nd & Braves June 25th.
  6. Did anyone notice that Prince's new walk-up "music" is now Thunder. Not sure if this is the first game since he changed, but its the first time I heard it.
  7. Tony Gwynn Jr will be our center fielder next year.
  8. I think you have it backwards... from google maps looks like the batter would be facing to the North-east. If wind is blowing south, the wind would be coming out of left field.
  9. I'm a really big Villanueva fan, and glad that he finally has his spot in the rotation like he should have last year. My friends and I came up with a nickname for him, and I'd like to hear what you guys think about it. Ready for it? "The Assassin" since he seems so methodical and cold on the mound, and solely from the expression on his face, you couldn't tell whether he just gave up a 3-run HR, just struck out the side, or just offed the opposing team's bench coach.
  10. Count me in too. 1st post, cuz I figured this was worth signing up for the forum for a chance to see a game with Pedro, but I'm also looking forward to talking baseball with you guys in the near future.
