  1. It's obviously not something I would prefer, but it's the simple solution as I said. Plus Bianchi's rehab assignment is over on Friday, so need to bring him up or risk losing him. The final 2 bench guys haven't played much anyway, so they could get by barring a significant injury, in which case someone else could be brought up. I just don't see the point of Davis and Prince being the last 2 guys on the bench. Might as well not risk losing Bianchi and have him sit there. Start teaching him some OF if need be.
  2. 17-11. That 10 game road trip all against division opponents is the wild card. I think they'll win a ton of their home games.
  3. Actually it's pretty simple. Send one of them down when Ramirez returns, and hen activate Bianchi and send down the other. Problem solved.
  4. Not when his value is at the lowest it'll ever be, I can tell you that.
  5. Yuni at cleanup, haha. Never thought I'd see that happen. Really glad Ramirez will be back within the next week.
  6. I wanna hear RRR explain his logic for that squeeze. Your hottest hitter is up, Braun is on deck. Why would you play for 1 run? Incredibly stupid.
  7. Tickets for tonight's game are going for as low as $3 on stubhub. $12 for lower level. LOL. Bucks fans must be really pumped up.

  9. I don't see why they are necessary, or need to be on the FS Wisconsin payroll. But that's their problem I guess. They don't bother me really, I just find them to be pointless. Sophia being there just to handle twitter seems pointless to me too. But whatever I guess.
  10. Aoki 9 Segura 6 Braun 7 Lucroy 2 Weeks 4 Gomez 8 Betancourt 5 Gonzalez 3 Gallardo 1
  11. He could just stand there and not swing. Might be able to bunt. I guess we'll wait and see.
  12. I would imagine Lohse can pitch with this injury unless he needs surgery. Just the bad luck the Brewers always have with injuries. Another freak incident.
  13. Well, that could've been worse. At least it was his non-throwing hand so he'll be fine. He caught his pinky on Alonso's jersey running to 1B for those asking.
  14. http://brewernation.mlblogs.com/2013/04/22/rumor-mill-this-one-makes-some-sense-but/ Nothing concrete, but something to discuss. I wouldn't mind it since Yuni and Bianchi would still be around as utility players.
  15. From the Petco Park rule book: Ball strikes south (left) side of the Western Metal Supply Building: Foul Ball. On another note, Gonzalez is now hitting .122 and doesn't run out ground balls. No reason for him to be playing anymore. Inexcusable.
  16. I love the lineup. Glad RRR stopped being stubborn and changed it up. Weeks can't be in the cleanup spot anymore, and Gonzalez needed to be in the 8 hole.
  17. These needed to go here. http://i33.tinypic.com/29az8kg.gif http://i37.tinypic.com/10yifsk.gif http://i35.tinypic.com/65bjtz.jpg
  18. I'd rather have Lucroy sit once every 5 days. Catchers get worn out quicker than other positions. And past production doesn't necessarily equal future. I agree that he should sit every 5 days. No problem with that. In this case though it was to try to get Peralta going. He works well with Maldonado. It clearly worked.
  19. Here ya go. http://i38.tinypic.com/25unn81.gif
  20. Think this is appropriate for today. http://i37.tinypic.com/wiagpg.gif
  21. Gomez is 1-10 career vs. Jackson, so that's likely why he's not playing. Stupid reason given the small sample size and how hot of a bat he's been swinging, but knowing RRR that's likely it. If Schafer needed the playing time, then Aoki should've been getting the day off.
  22. Yeah, I don't see much reason to be playing Gonzalez right now either. Especially in the 6 hole. Play the hot hand in Yuni at 3B, and go with Maldy or Lalli at 1B. At least don't start Gonzalez every day.
  23. Axford rarely has thrown 98. He tops out at 96-97, and usually doesn't start hitting 97 until into the season. 95-96 would be normal for him at this time of year, so he's down 1 or 2 MPH right now. And he's been throwing a lot of sliders actually, which is rather unusual for him.
  24. http://brewersbeat.mlblogs.com/2013/04/18/burgos-set-for-saturday-debut-fiers-sent-out/ This sheds some more light on the next time a 5th starter will be needed. Seems like it'll be between Burgos and Fiers. "Fiers was told to prepare for at least two Triple-A starts, the first on Saturday if Mother Nature will stop meddling with the Sounds schedule. Then, the Brewers, who will not need Burgos again after Saturday until April 30, will re-evaluate their options."
