  1. Yeah, it always seems to fall in the 7th. Just made one mistake, and Bruce is too good to miss it.
  2. And this is why we need more runs. Never trust a lead against this team at this ballpark.
  3. I had a feeling the Cards luck would run out at some point. Maybe this is that point, but not sure. Time will tell I guess.
  4. He has no chance, so might as well give him a mercy vote.
  5. Alright Yuni, actually make yourself useful and get this run in. That means don't strikeout, popout, or weakly groundout. EDIT: Thank you!
  6. Nice 2-0 lead to start the game. Loving it! Also gotta love Plush's swag!
  7. As do I. It feels really weird to say and think it though.
  8. You're a Brewers fan, you should embrace the lack of class. I know. Should've put that in blue. I added it in there for a reason.
  9. Can't say I'm not happy about this. But oh wait, I guess that's not classy.
  10. Can someone explain what the numbers after each player means? I see this every game and have no clue what they mean. Each number stands for a position on the scorecard. 1 - P 2 - C 3 - 1B 4 - 2B 5 - 3B 6 - SS 7 - LF 8 - CF 9 - RF
  11. Wasn't Renteria supposed one of those surefire huge upgrades to Betancourt? Seeing as Betancourt's OPS is .574 he still is. Lol. At least Renteria has a .324 OBP.
  12. There were reports coming out late last season that Lawrie was beginning to work at 3B. I think there is a pretty decent chance that he would have began this season at 3B in the Brewers system (though we dont know anything for sure), especially after Rickie's extension. It's possible, but I always remember hearing that we were thinking about moving him to the outfield.
  13. No that hard to believe when the 6 and 7 spots were filled by Betancourt, Kotsay, and whatever other crap we put in there until Lucroy finally moved up a week or so ago. And McGehee hasn't been great in the 5 spot.
  14. It goes without saying, but I'm sure a lot of people think that Lawrie would look good at 3B for the Brewers in the future. Especially with the struggles of McGehee this year. I just don't think the Brewers ever projected him as a 3B, or he wouldn't've been traded.
  15. Roenicke finally decided to give the struggling McGehee a day off. Now if he can just leave this lineup, except put McGehee behind Hart, then we'll be good. Rickie Weeks 2B Nyjer Morgan CF Ryan Braun LF Prince Fielder 3B Corey Hart RF Jonathan Lucroy C Yuniesky Betancourt SS Craig Counsell 3B Shaun Marcum RHP
  16. I'd trade for Furcal and roll out this lineup. Weeks Furcal Braun Fielder Hart McGehee Lucroy Pitcher Morgan That is a pretty sweet lineup right there. Then we have a bench of Kotsay, Gomez, Betancourt, Counsell, and Nieves, which isn't horrible. Would like to add a power bat to the mix, but Yuni on the bench would at least give us some power. I think once Saito comes back, we should be ok in the bullpen too. A pen of Axford, Saito, Loe, Hawkins, Braddock, Estrada, Mitre would be pretty good.
  17. I know that. Players from bigger markets usually get in. I just said that Howard is having a good year, not that he's having a better year than Fielder. I would hope Fielder would get in over him, but I'm not sure he would.
  18. I don't think I'd say the Sexson trade was the best trade ever either, but it did turn out pretty well for us. I'd always go with the CC trade, no matter what Melvin does.
  19. Weeks is definitely deserving, but there's no way he beats Phillips. It's ok though, because I'm sure he'll get a reserve spot. Fielder on the other hand would be in trouble if Pujols gets voted in. Votto is a lock, and Howard is having a great year. Fielder is too, but idk if they'd take 1B. Maybe they would though, because all 3 of the reserves would deserve to be on the team more than Pujols. I think Lucroy has a good shot to make it also.
  20. I knew they could do it! And I'm happy they did! I was first to guess 17-12, so I'll take full credit for that too. Lol.
  21. Just move Hart to 5th and bat Morgan 2nd. Simple as that.
  22. Just move Hart there and bat Morgan 2nd. Problem solved.
  23. Typical Gomez launching one into home plate when he has no chance to get the runner. Should've thrown to 3rd, but Lucroy should've thrown out Lewis at 1st also. Ugh.
  24. Looks like Corey isn't feeling very well yet. I guess he just can't play a full game yet.
