If Weeks hurt his wrist again our season is over.

Marcum has been great, aside from his first start. On another not, Betancourt and Kotsay still suck. But, we already knew that.

Too bad it will take until July for Doug to start looking for replacements on the trade market. Could've solved the problem before the season even started.

I wouldn't mind Melvin working with Jack Z to acquire Jack Wilson. He plays good D, and can't really be worse than Betancourt at the plate.

It's pretty much guaranteed to be terrible with Gomez hitting 2nd, and Betancourt and Kotsay in the lineup everyday. We basically need Week, Braun, Fielder, and McGehee all to be hot at once for our offense to be on. We really need Morgan and Hart in there. Badly.

Yeah, it really does more than just cost us that run. It shortens Marcum's start, which makes us tire out the bullpen, and then they aren't as sharp. It's a domino effect.

Yep, that's why I switched immediately to FSW when I saw he was announcing for ESPN. He's horrible.

Yeah, I'd put him on the Reds though probably. Just to make their offense worse. The Cubs are pretty bad already, but maybe I'd put him on the Cards too.

I could see 6. I doubt we'll lose to the Astros on Friday, but never know I guess. At this point, I would be happy with 1 win this series. We are playing like crap right now.

I'm watching the FSW for right now. Just switched over to ESPN to see who was announcing. Don't really wanna listen to them, so I'll stick with FSW.

Roenicke said he thought Morgan would be ready today, so you have to figure it won't take much longer. I hope he can play tomorrow, because I really don't wanna see Gomez batting against Roy Halladay.

I'm not a fan of all the dumb games they play between innings and all that. Mainly because they are all incredibly easy, and boring. It just holds no entertainment value for me. I try not to pay attention to it, but it is what it is I guess. The music is pretty stupid at times too, but it really doesn't faze me much. Overall, I like the experience at Miller Park, so I can't complain much. I'm there to watch the game, and I'm not gonna let minor things like this ruin it for me. They are just there, and they'll stay there. For that reason, we all have to deal with it.

Yeah, I think that all 25 players on a team are important. Especially on a contending team. Like was just said, even the 5th outfielder can still be a big contributor off the bench as a pinch-hitter. All I want to see is Boggs be given a chance if Almonte continues to struggle. I don't see any reason to leave him on the roster if he can't hit or field. He will be given more time obviously, but I don't think he will end up cutting it off the bench. -
I was looking at the forecasts for this series, because of the 2 rainouts we've already had. Rain is predicted for both tomorrow and Wednesday. Tomorrow looks like it might rain all day. We could see yet another rainout or at least some rain dealys, but we shall see I guess. Hopefully we get this win tonight.
