I really wish Boggs was on this team right now. He's currently hitting .296 with 2 HR 7 RBI .500 OBP 1.056 OPS and 9 walks at AAA. Also has 2 outfield assists. He'd look a lot better out in RF than Almonte has so far. But instead we kept Almonte and Reed both over him. I really hope Melvin comes to his senses and at least drops Almonte for Boggs at some point. I know Kotsay won't be dropped, but Almonte isn't that wishful of thinking.

Amen. Hawkins is gonna be back in a couple days. His last rehab outing was today, and went well. Parra should follow soon too. Hart should be back by April 29. Greinke May 4. The end of the injury problems is in sight!

It's hilarious how the very next pitch was literally in the exact same spot and was called a ball.

I really don't see Almonte lasting the season on this team anyway. We'll see a nice DFA and recall of Boggs eventually.

Wow, Almonte sucks. That should've been an easy play. Had to make it hard, and then dive horribly. We really could use Morgan out there, crap.

With this lineup, we are already off to a bad start. Not good at all. Counsell should've played both games, and Kotsay should've started the second game instead of the first. Plush would've started both if he wasn't hurt. Too bad. At least Werth isn't playing.

2 runs on 11 hits. That's no getting it done. Gotta come up with more runs. At least we didn't have to drain the entire bullpen on this game though.

Livan owned us last year iirc. Yep, complete game shutout. But since we rocked Marquis last year and he owned us this year, that must mean that we'll own Hernandez this year. We can only hope I guess.
