    Another spot will open when Hart comes back, and probably another when Hawkins and Greinke come back. So I don't think we'll be at a shortage of open 40-man spots. We'll have 2 more within the next few weeks.

    I started off with a 5 day streak, then lost. Now I have a 6 gamer going.

    It hurts more than helps in my opinion, because Gallardo gets pushed out of the Phillies series. We'd have Marcum, Wolf, and Narveson, instead of Wolf, Narveson, Gallardo. So really it's switching Marcum and Gallardo.

    All that happens if there is no doubleheader in the next two days, is that everyone gets pushed back a day. So Estrada pitches Sunday, and Marcum on Monday.

    I agree, and this might be a situation where Vince has to sink or swim with someone. He'll just have to push someone and stick with them. Who that will be? I have no idea at this point. R-Truth randomly got into the main event at Extreme Rules, so maybe him. I think Rhodes has a shot over on Smackdown, and they teased a Swagger face turn last night as well. That also seems like a possibility to me.

    Do we want a doubleheader now? I'd say no. It will probably happen though. If I had to choose, I'd play a doubleheader on August 24, or just play the game August 25. We are down a starter already right now, don't need to find another one.

    If whoever is in RF slips on the wet grass and pulls a muscle, who would you rather it be? Just trying to find a silver lining. Kotsay on the DL would be a good thing for this team.

    This lineup sucks. Im so sick of Roenicke playing Kotsay over Morgan. Theres no justification for it at all. Just as there is no justification to batting Gomez 2nd.

    Yeah, there's no way they're going to play the game if it's still steadily raining at game time. They might wait to officially call it, but I don't see it happening.

    At least Greinke was able to overcome it. Hopefully Salome can do the same.

    Yeah, both of those guys could miss at least a month, and probably longer than that. There's plenty of time to get Davis and Ortiz ready. I don't see a reason for it either, but I hope it happens. They will both suck pretty badly.

    It's really a bummer that Salome lost it mentally. He really could've been a great offensive catcher. He might be in the bigs right now for all we know. Oh well, at least Lucroy developed.

    Looking at the weather, it looks like there's almost no chance this game will be played. This will suck if it is postponed. 2 days in a row with no game. Boo! On the bright side, Wednesday and Thursday look fine. So they can probably get all 3 games in over those 2 days. This will mess up our rotation a little bit though.

    Edge was one of my all-time favorites. That list just continues to dwindle for me. I hope Jericho comes back soon, or I will have lost all hope. Lol. But really, Edge is a huge loss for WWE. Leaves a huge dent on the face side of things. Word is that they knew this was possible, so they put him over at Mania and kept Christian face. He was supposed to turn heel on Edge, and ADR was supposed to go over. They would be really thin if Christian was heel right now. I think they need to bring Jericho back as a face at this point. They have nothing over on Smackdown. Almost need to push some guys fast too.

    Yeah, Mitre is here to say. We traded for him for a reason. Green is the odd man out.

    I think the reason for them playing Maldonado everyday down in AAA is to see if he'll have value to us next year, and down the road, as a solid backup catcher. I would guess that we won't see him this year. If someone gets hurt after one of our catchers is let go, I would guess Rivera would get the call.

    I agree, but this won't last long. It'll only be for about 10 days until Hart gets back. Just will give Doug some time to decide, and make some calls. I doubt he'll find takers for either guy, but it doesn't hurt to look. We'll see what happens when the time comes I guess. I still hope we keep Kottaras over Nieves, but it's anybodies guess at this point. If there was a clear favorite, the other person would've been let go today.

    Well, Edge had to retire tonight. That just made WWE that much worse.

    I really don't see Lucroy getting out of the 8 spot, or Weeks leaving the leadoff spot. That's a good looking lineup that I'd love to see. I just don't think they will drop Weeks from leadoff, even when Morgan takes over CF. I would guess that they'll just platoon Gomez and Morgan in the 2 spot. We'll see I guess.

    I still have a faint hope that HHH will turn this company back around once Vince steps down. It's hard to believe that he enjoys the current product. Never know I guess.

    I'm really thinking that Doug will just trade Kottaras or Nieves. We already have Maldonado and Rivera down in AAA. Might as well get some value for whoever the odd man out is.

    Well deserved honor for Prince. He has been smoking the ball since Wednesday. Completely locked in. Speaking of locked, there's not much to talk about in this thread. Good for him though.
