It'll also be completely predictable if Punk loses the title to Ziggler at the Rumble by getting screwed by Laurinaitis. Don't see it happening. I guess that doesn't mean he won't drop it at some other point, but I doubt it happens. The match will mean more if it's for the title. MITB is rumored to be back at Mania this year, so Ziggler will probably win that and cash in to become champion.

No way Punk drops the title. They'll want the full two month build for the match between him and Jericho at Wrestlemania. That doesn't leave room for him to continue his feud with Ziggler.

How is playing Hart at 1B against some LHPs a bad idea? Corey Hart hit .333/.430/.624 against lefties last year. Mat Gamel hit .213/.280/.375 against lefties in Triple-A last year. If anything this will give Gamel more of a chance to succeed. No reason to continuously throw him out there against tough lefties when Hart is there as an option. It's not like Hart will be playing 1B everyday, he'll still be needed in RF.

I'll elaborate. http://www.brewcrewball.c...vr.it&utm_medium=twitter Melvin said that Roenicke will be talking to Hart about being the backup plan to Gamel at 1B, but he will likely play 30 or so games against tough LHP at 1B anyway. Sounds like a good plan to me. I like the idea of Hart at 1B a lot, as I know many do here as well. Seems like a good platoon option for right now at least. Need another RH option in the OF though.

I'm thinking he won't end up signing. My guess is that Melvin submitted a one-year proposal that he won't budge from, and Aoki's camp wants a 3-year deal. Melvin will likely move on to someone else.

Oh man, Baja Blast is probably my favorite soda of all-time. Sometimes I decide to eat at Taco Bell just so I can have it. Good stuff. I wish they sold it in stores.

I guess, but he faced Hawkins and Kidd, guys who haven't been on TV in months. I'd like to see him actually have a longer match with someone the audience has actually seen recently. The majority of the people watching probably didn't even know who Hawkins and Kidd were. On Smackdown he was out there a total of about 2 minutes. Came out, did his dumb dance, did two moves, won, did another dance and left. He can win in a squash, but it should last longer than that.

Yeah, I agree. It makes no sense for Cole to be the heel as the lead announcer. King should be pro-heel, with JR as pro-face. Then Smackdown should be Mathews pro-face and then either Booker T as pro-heel, or Booker T neutral, and bring in someone else as pro-heel. Having Cole be the lead on both shows, burying all of the faces makes absolutely no sense. I used to enjoy the arguments between JR and King. It was entertaining to listen to.

If Gamel doesn't hit it'll be him for sure. There's already lots of people down on him. I'm not one of them, and I'll be backing him from the get-go. But there will be some people who bash him from the beginning, and if he doesn't hit it'll get worse and worse. Also, the PTBNL bet is probably a good one. I could see a crappy veteran being signed to take a roster spot. I don't see Gonzalez taking that much crap, mainly because he's replacing Yuni, and most people will like him just because he's not Yuni. It won't be Loe either. His hate all came when he was setup man, and he won't be with K-Rod here. K-Rod will be good, so not sure why he'd be in the doghouse at any point either. -
I prefer Coke to Pepsi, so can't say I would be upset about this. Not that I drink that much soda at games anyway, but still. It's cheaper than beer I guess. I refuse to pay for beer in Miller Park. The only beer I drink is in the parking lot.

Exactly, not sure how Vince just stands idly by while Cole buries people. JR was phenomenal at capturing moments, while Cole is horrible at it. King is also boring when he's not a heel. He doesn't bring much to the table when he isn't. I was really hoping JR would be back for good the last time they brought him back. Cole can go suck on Smackdown if they want him to. JR needs to be on Raw and on PPVs.

I'm also really sick of Michael Cole. I miss the days of JR and King. With King being the funny heel supporter, and JR always freaking out when the faces got screwed over. Good times. I was watching the History of the WWE Championship DVD and it just reminded me of how much better the commentary used to be. JR and King, JR and Heyman, Foley and JBL were both good too. McMahon was good in his day as well. I just can't stand to listen to Cole sometimes.

Yeah, laughably dumb is a good description. It was funny because it was so unexpectedly dumb. I know they come up with some dumb stuff, but this was over the top. There are so many better gimmicks they could've come up with for Clay. I'd agree that Cryme Tyme was probably the last really terrible gimmick before this. I know there's been a few bad ones, but none at this level.

To me, the only way guys like Clay are effective is when they are built as monster, indestructible heels. Much like how Henry was recently. That was awesome.

That Brodus Clay gimmick may be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Also, a little confused by the whole Jericho crying thing. I figured he wouldn't talk again, but the crying was interested. I think he's still just pulling everyone in though. He'll cut a heel promo eventually. Who knows when though? I still like it.

Yeah, I could see Jericho not talking again. Let it play out awhile while Punk finishes his feud with Ziggler. Personally, I'd like to see Jericho talk this week though.

Pretty sure that whole she thing will end up being nothing more than a part of the video. I doubt anyone will actually show up. Never know though I guess. If someone does, the only person who makes sense is Stephanie. I highly doubt she'll come back to TV full-time though.
