  1. Verle Tiefenthaler is still alive and doesn't sign many autographs. Mostly, probably because he's not asked to. Its just a guess, and maybe what happened is the ball came from a Dubuque game at some time. It was then autographed during different years. Dubuque was a White Sox minor league affiliate from 1954 through 1958. The team then was a minor league affiliate of the Pirates during the 1959 and 1960 seasons. I would say the Haake signature has no value, and may hurt the value of the Tiefenthaler autograph. The Tiefenthaler auto may have future value when he passes, and White Sox collectors that collect every players autograph that played for the Sox..
  2. The lineups are not released yet. I'm guessing they will be up Monday.
  3. I read your post and when you said the date I was also thinking that is the same day as the block party. Why would Jeff's do that? The information has been out for a monthg on the block parties. They're last signing (Kapler) was the same date as the free Braun signing. I would have went to get a ball signed by Branyan, but instead I'll be going to the block party.
  4. JFYI...The 4th set was not given out in 1994. It was given out in 1995. During that time in 1994 the players were on strike.
  5. Did anyone go to the Alcott Park block party? I went to Sherman Park any it was empty. There were maybe 150 non-employees there. I had no problem getting everyones autograph. The signing were cut short, the whole event was short, and there was still items in the box they didn't raffel off. It was nice getting all the autos, but if no one comes out they may not do these events next year. How was Alcott Park?
  6. Most of the ones I've seen auction off go anywhere fron $20-$30. I don't know of the "book value", but that is what the real value is.
  7. On the ebay page at the top you would click on "advanced search" then at the left click on "items by seller" then type in the sellers id which was given in the first post kd1996
  8. I have the Overbay white, Podsednik blue, Lee blue, and 2005 Sheets blue. PM me with offer.
  9. You have Don Money white pinstriped listed twice, and not the powder blue one.
