  1. I have two Bucks tickets available to most Bucks home games this season. The seats are in Section 209, row 2 - upper level, but side court in the 2nd row. I have a good amount of flexibility in terms of which games and how many I sell vs. keep, so most games are available at this point (unless I've already sold that game). I'm willing to sell any number of games to a given person - individual games or a larger group of games. Face value is $64 per ticket, but my price for you may vary depending on what exactly you're interested in (e.g., games with marquee opponents are inherently worth more, and weeknight games vs. lower-rung teams are often worth less). My goal is not to make a bunch of money on this but rather to recoup some of the investment I made for the whole season, at a fair price - and trying to eliminate the middleman of Stubhub or Ticketmaster. If you're interested in a group of games, we can work out something fair depending on what you want. For example, an average mix of games in terms of day of week / quality of opponent for an average price at face value, or a price that is higher or lower if you want to target more specific games. If you're interested in individual games, my sale price will vary from face value for some games. I'm working on coming up with a more comprehensive pricing list, but feel free to reach out in the meantime if you're interested and we can work out the details.
  2. Switch the Bucks' 3 point shooting %s between games 1 and 2 and we win this one
  3. And when we do get it inside, we are really struggling to score. This quarter feels like game 1.
  4. I'll take a quarter where Phoenix scores a grand total of two points on two point attempts and free throws combined. I don't think they'll sustain 57% from three.
  5. Nice to see the Suns missing some midrange shots (somewhat due to better Bucks D. But they also seemingly didn't miss last game) and to see the Bucks converting most of their chances at the rim tonight.

    Pizza

I went to Organ Piper for the first time a couple years ago. I was actually surprised at how much I liked the pizza. I was expecting garbage but it was pretty good.
  7. From what I can see on the Brewers website, food and snack carry ins are prohibited (on both of these pages) while beverage carry ins are still allowed but limited to one per person (according to the second page, which does seem to have been updated for 2021 rules): https://www.mlb.com/brewers/ballpark/covid-19 https://www.mlb.com/brewers/ballpark/security Personally, I like to bring in my own stuff because then I know what I'm getting and don't have to waste time standing in line to buy unhealthy food that also happens to be overpriced. I also have water whenever I need it (I drink a lot). Cost isn't a concern, but convenience and knowing what I'm getting are. When I'm in the mood I'll spend whatever they're charging for whatever food or beverage I want, I just happen to prefer other stuff in many cases. Its also way easier to bring your own go-to food options for little kids.
  8. I'd get on a plane tomorrow. The problem is what you do once you're there and if the destination will even let you in. I had a trip to New Mexico for November I just cancelled due to their quarantine. I officially killed one to Japan for March, as there is just no way we go from banned to leisurely in five months. I took a trip to Disney World last month with my family. Planes are relatively safe (air circulation and enforced mask requirements). I also firmly believe that Disney World is one of the safest places to be "in a crowd" based on the enforced mask requirements and other safety measures they take seriously. To my knowledge there have not been any outbreaks tied to Disney World. All in all the only potentially questionable aspects were the time spent in the airport itself and indoor dining at Disney. The former involved higher mask compliance than expected, and the latter involves temperature checks and other safety measures, so still safer than your average experience with indoor activities. I still wouldnt necessarily recommend a trip to Disney World right now, but that's moreso due to the fact that so many aspects of the normal experience have been scaled back than due to safety. I literally felt safer going to Disney World for a week than I would feel working out at my gym (where I know mask compliance is very low). I actually can't believe my gym hasn't had an outbreak yet.
  9. Regarding the impact of summer on the virus, there was some info that came out in April that showed some promise. Specifically, UV light and humidity can more quickly kill virus particles suspended in the air. Of course, that was shared in the same press briefing when Trump followed up by suggesting that injecting light or disinfectants could cure the virus, so the actual science part was overshadowed in all the media reporting on it. But the actual scientific part of that April 23 briefing was pretty fascinating. The following is a summary from Forbes: Bill Bryan, undersecretary for Science and Technology at the Director of Homeland Security shared “emerging” findings that increases in humidity and ultraviolet rays as well as common disinfectants like bleach kill the virus on nonporous surfaces and in the air faster, emphasizing they were “ongoing” studies.
  10. For what it's worth (probably not much), Giannis made a comment yesterday during the protests about his kid growing up in Milwaukee.
  11. Insurers are certainly paying for the COVID treatment costs you referenced, but they also didnt have to pay for a whole bunch of elective services, preventive care, etc the past few months. Some of those services will happen over the next few months (such that insurer costs may exceed normal levels absent the pandemic), but some of them will never happen.
  12. I don't really care whether anyone says theres an asterisk next to a title the Bucks won. I just want to see them win a damn title with Giannis. I don't want to see that opportunity taken away just because some talking heads will debate whether or not it was legitimate.
  13. If you're concerned about outliving your wealth, you can always buy some kind of annuity. I'm not an expert, but that's pretty much the point of them. That basically allows you to pay in the actuarial average and get income for life, similar to what a pension would offer.
  14. Mertz will progress just fine. Football compared to other sports involves a steeper learning curve when joining a new team, and it's also easier to get game like reps in practice. Let him practice until he's the best QB. No need to throw him into the fire before he's ready, or do anything other than put the best team on the field when we should have a decent team this year.
  15. Not surprising. For months I've been expecting to see Coan start the first few games and Mertz take the starting job sometime in September or October.
  16. That is ridiculous. Fortunately my wife likes it cooler than I do, and we keep our house between 65 and 70 year round
  17. Roughly 8 years ago, I reffed a basketball game involving a player who got drafted by the Warriors tonight. Not only that, I had to give a T to both him and his coach/dad (and quite frankly probably should've thrown both out of the game). That game had some of the most tension out of any game I ever reffed. Weird to think about.
  18. Honestly I can't believe the City of Milwaukee even cares about that. There are much more shady things that go on and I assume much more shady-looking properties all over the city...
  19. The Badgers have been on FM stations, haven't they? They have been on 95.7 in the past, and I thought they may have switched or may soon switch to 97.3.
  20. Mattys in New Berlin. I did the Easter brunch there a couple years ago. I assume mothers day would be similar. They have excellent Bloody Mary's if you're into those. (I highly recommend the Ultimate Mattys Mary.)
  21. In the one game the Celtics beat the Bucks this year, they shot 55 three-pointers and made 24 of them (44%). They won by four. I dont see Boston being able to do something like that four times out of 7. The postseason is a different animal and the regular season results dont mean a ton (and one of our wins against them was only by a point). But still, theres a lot more that has to break in Bostons favor for them to win than for the Bucks to win. Go Bucks!
  22. I think the Panorama Club might have seating along a rail where you can watch the game from without needing specific tickets. I'm guessing most of the areas are just standing by some kind of railing behind a section. Please report back for any others of us who may go the SRO option in the playoffs...
  23. For Cincy I like the bars and restaurants along E. Freedom Way (right by the stadium) and by Fountain Square. I can't remember what E. Freedom Way is like for Reds games, but they shut it down for Bengals games. When I was last there for a Brewers game, they stayed at the Westin by Fountain Square. A number of players walked to/from the game from there.
  24. Yeah, I went in expecting us to lose based on playing the second of a road back to back and third game in 4 nights. Not really surprising at all that we ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.
  25. Need to start making some free throws...
