So is he going to try and get a 7th out of Wolf now? -
Kotsay makes it 4 actually
-
I think they were talking about Braun specifically
-
Alright, now let's pretend like that was a pinch hit and put in Gomez now.
-
Ok Kotsay. Way to redeem yourself
-
No. Even with that first inning I still trust him more than our other options. Plus he's not a terrible hitter. Gotta get him through 5.
-
Let's make two changes here. Kotsay->Morgan/Gomez, Roenicke->Sveum/any other coach on our staff
-
Two screw ups and it's only the first inning. Your killin me Kotsay
-
And he just negated his walk. Back to zero Kotsay, prove you belong.

Soup & Diego to throw out first pitches in St. Louis

I think it'd be worse if he did this in Milwaukee. -
The ball bounced into his glove after Rickie was safe

^ Best quote of the thread

Holy cow, Betancourt even getting in on the action
-
It showed 0-4
-
If it's gets it out of their system, I'd be fine with 5 more. Just cool off for Friday.
-
Holy Crap, Casey McGehee got a hit. We better get at least two runs out of this.
-
So I must wonder again, why did we use Narveson last night?
-
"Casey McGehee had been struggling in the last month" Try full season.

Hmmmm... I feel that i'd be pretty disappointed in Braun, as a player and as a man, if he were in Reyes position and did what Reyes did. With that said, i'm sure Braun cares more about the MVP than the batting title. It will not matter at all, in my opinion, if Braun is only a point off of Reyes when it comes time to vote.. i think he's got it either way.. but I think he's going to put one last show on for us tonight, whatever that amounts to. Yeah, it definitely makes him look bad now, but years down the road no one's going to remember this. He'll go in the records for the 2011 NL batting title, that's all people are going to see.

National League MVP 2011: Braun = MVP! (reply #318)
GB12 replied to jjfanec's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Obviously I want Braun to win it, but I always thought the whole you have to be on a playoff team idea was stupid. -
Hate to say it, but if there was nothing on the line and it meant a Brewer getting a batting title or not, I would have wanted the same.
-
So since the Dodgers blew it tonight, it will be Gallardo game 1, Marcum game 2, and Grienke game 3

Lawrie is out for the rest of the year with a fractured finger

Wow that was a shocking graphic. What would Braun's batting average be if you took out his May?
