Its great to see us beating up on these poor teams instead of narrowly beating them with plenty of missed oppurtunities (The most recent Nationals series comes to mind).

Im just looking forward to the cheap Sabathia T-shirt jerseys next season. Im sick of seeing Linebrink and friggin Graffanino

Hunter Pence and Khalil Greene are the most ugly, annoying baseball players alive. I would also love if I could make it through one Brewers/Astros series without hearing "Hunter Pence is a free swinger". I know already!! Joba "God" Chamberlin is also annoying because the Yanks and their fans love him so much. Elijah "wants to kill someone" Dukes and Dimitri "big ass" Young are also annoying

We are all Brewers fans so I can't see how any of us can actually say that after laying all our cards on the table that the playoffs is fine. World Series or bust from here on out

Anyone know a good Bucks message board. I was hoping to find one with great conversation like this board, but it all I've found is unintelligent rants. Help please . . .

TH's actions were extremely unproffesional. Some one at JS had to say something to him after he exploded on his blog. However, the bigger issue I have with him is biased journalism. The thing I'm wondering is if this is a problem across the nation because I remember glossing over some articles relating to that while researching a paper. Either way TH should leave his opinions out of his newspaper articles. Kramnoj, I love the idea of a site that gives game recaps with analysis. I'm a student and a sportswriter prospect (with huge upside;) and I'm going to look into getting a Brewers blog started up. No disrespect to this site of course, because the content on this site is fantastic.

There is some logic behind putting Craig Counsell at 3B. Our entire lineup is full of hitters who strike out or crush the ball. Utility CC adds some versaitility to our line-up and creates some disruptions in the six hole. He isn't going to produce high stats, but he will battle; which is something the Brewers have been lacking this season. They haven't had anybody up there, except Prince who will battle a pitcher. Nost probably is playing for a few more hit & runs/run & hit's for his random hitter of the week.

Yes it definitely would have turned out differently. The first game was the only competitive game of the series and the Brewers couldn't handle the early blow from the Cubs. If the Brewers win that game then we make a loud statement that we won't go down easy to the Cubs. The rest of the series would have been much more competitive and our team would look much more confident today. Can someone on the team get a hit with runners on please?

The Braves hitters are really battling sheets. That could spell trouble with the combination of the Atlanta heat, Ned Yost and a high pitch count.

In the ESPN preview of tonights (Tuesdays) game they keep showing a sliding catch by Tony Gwynn and it's really making me mad. They couldn't find any of Ryan Braun's hundreds of sliding catches he has made. Braun loves the sliding catch. When was the last time Gwynn was with the team? Although I appreciate the coverage can you at least show our big league players.

No Brewer fan actually says something like this. I hope your drunk or a Schlubs fan

CC wasn't going to remain unbeaten forever . . . So now he can start winning again.

I don't want to hear about Yost ripping on Rickie, but it better happen in private. If he wants to defend him to the media that's fine, but I really hope he gets on Rickie about his play because our team needs him to play better. A night off can't hurt either

You could never earn the respect of the players if you never played major league ball
  18. Brew Guzzler
I absolutely despise Joe Buck and if I had to hear him love Yankees anymore than I did for 15 innings at the All-star game then . . . I don't even know. Go Uecker!
  19. Brew Guzzler
Texas is an extremely dangerous team though. If they could get a pitcher they would be the scariest team in baseball

Not 100% sure but isn't Lincecum's contract up this year?

I would be shocked that we are first on sportscenter but I would like to act non-chalant because us Brewer fans know all about first place.

Ryan Braun celebrated this homer with a little fist pump tonight that even the celehaters will be okay with. Also it was a freaking awesome home run.

It is definitely interesting this year. I would feel bad for the Reds if they weren't in our division. I'm surprised they haven't dealt Ken Griffey yet because there is no way they move up in the division. The Dodgers just made a move for Casey Blake because they needed another bat and I think this and the not "very good" D-backs allow the Dodgers to slide into first place. And I mean "slide" into first. The Braves are the most intriguing team this year because they have a AAA team w/ Mark Teixiera. I hope they deal him to the Rays because I absolutely love someone else in the Sox/Skanks race. I can't imagine them making a run in the NL East where the Mets are rolling and the Phil's have another MVP canidate and a decent pitching staff. Good luck Braves, but I think your done.

I absolutely love it when ball players watch their home runs, but only if they are meaningful home runs. Braun's homer tonight gave us the lead in the 9th inning to (eventually) clinch the sweep of a current rival. That home run was huge in length and importance. I'm sure some of us have felt what it is like to hit a home run off the sweet spot of a wood bat, but I haven't. And if I were to hit an important home run like Braun did tonight . . . I would let my emotions show and watch that home run. Ryan Braun walked it out like he was a man tonight and he should because he earned it.

I would like to extend some extra credit to Prince, Cameron and Kendall for being (at least it appears from the outside) the leaders in the clubhouse. Also chemistry is easy when your winning.
