9/27/08 Cubs (Lilly) at Brewers (Sheets): 2:55 CDT on FOX

Lilly would be the number 2 starter on the Brewers right now... -
Those are some outstanding nicknames. Where did you come up with them?

I went to the last two games and all I can say is wow! Your park is awesome except your old ushers who wouldn't let any SRO fans to sit down after most of the Brewers fans left. But wednesday night my tickets were behind home plate and it's just wicked seeing a game that close for less than $100. Most of the fans I ran into were fine. I got heckled a bit for wearing a Fukudome jersey, no big deal. One problem I did have were a few drunken Brewers fans making fun of a gay couple all night. The 2 guys didn't even say anything at all to anybody, didn't even root for either team. Only other problem I had were the same fans saying every racist joke possible to Fukudome. I was suprised there weren't any ushers in our section until the 7th inning. I was actually embarrassed for you guys when I saw a couple of Brewers "fans" take off their jerseys and put on Cubs shirts.

7/29/08 Cubs (Zambrano) at Brewers (Sheets): 7:05 CDT

It' goes both ways guys. If we didn't have Wendall Wavin Kim back in Mike Quade we had bases loaded with 1 out and who knows where Prince would be on the next play. Those 2 plays changed the whole tone of the game into Milwaukee's favor and maybe Lilly doesn't hang em to Hardy and Braun. Fact is, both teams had their chances, and the Cubs were the ones who came through when it came down to it. But it's only one game and the great thing about baseball is there's another game the next day. -
Well if any of you are sitting around me, then you'll be next to a nice Cubs fan :D

Wednesday section 126 Thursday SRO good luck....but go cubs!

How great can a 5 inning starter be?
tysoncbulls423 replied to Thurston Fluff's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I think Lou kept Harden to 5 innings and 87 pitches to make sure he's at his sharpest for the Thursday start in Milwaukee. He did go 7 IP and threw 110+ against Arizona in his last start. I think Lou was looking ahead and also wanted to get Marshall some work too. -
Braun is a badass. When is he a free agent?
-
I realize I'm not eligible for this contest but I was curious to know how hard you guys think it would be to get tickets on Thursday? I have tickets to Wednesday night and I'm planning on spending the night in Milwaukee and scalp on Thursday. What do you guys recommend?

http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif Come on guys, I asked you guys to win 3 out of 4 or split. Not sweep! I need some breathing room before I get murdered at Miller Park next week! You guys have been playing some amazing baseball though, I'll give you that.
-
I'm rooting for you guys tomorrow!
-
Would you want Sheets pitching past the 6th inning with a 7-0 lead? Didn't think so. Innings won't be a bigger issue than it already was before with Gallagher in the rotation. Harden is very efficient.
-
I know how you guys feel. I'm sorry for laughing about the Arizona game. Even if the Cubs pull it out today, I've died a little bit inside.
-
He gets pissed off at himself. And he points to the sky on the way back to the dugout. Kevin Youk is far worse but is he hated by Yankees fans for that matter? No. And about Braun, we dislike him more for his bat and success against us. Same reason why you guys would probably dislike Soriano and Ramirez.
-
What has Zambrano done lately to warrent being unlikeable? In his ear? That's just cold.
-
Well it obviously had the distant but I thought it was going to curve. I could care regardless and hopefully the Giants don't either.
-
well to be fair, that ball looked like it was going foul so I can't blame Ramirez for watching it. But I'm expecting him to get one in the arm tomorrow.

Rick Morrissey is an idiot when it comes to baseball period. This line is also a gem... Cubs fans should hope Hendry went as far as could, including dangling a Ryan Theriot or two, because Sabathia is head and shoulders and belly above any other pitcher who was available. While the first part is legit, Ryan Theriot having any value to the Indians or as a prospect in general is just laughable. Riot is Eckstein 2.0. He's important to a team's nucleus but has no value what so ever to any other team.

haha well I've used the name since Tyson was drafted and the 423 comes from 42 (Elton Brand) and 23 is obvious. I don't know why I still use this as my username on message boards amongst other things but I guess it just stuck for me. Anyways, I already have tickets for the 30th and I'm trying to get some for the 29th. Wish I could go to all 4 but I got my court date for my speeding ticket on the 1st of August http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Hey guys, I'm a Cubs fan from NSBB (I come in peace! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif). Anyways, I'm curious to know if Yost or the Brewers have announced what the rotation will look like after the ASG? I ask this because I'll be up at Miller Park at the end of the month and I would love to see Z-CC or Harden-Sheets. Who wouldn't?! Also on a side unrelated note, Sky Diving Midwest is by far one of the greatest experiences I've ever had and if you haven't done it yet, you should!
