  1. I know it would've been a special play for Herrera to make that grab, but it was still a laughable effort nonetheless.
  2. Freeman wanted to tattoo that ball in the worst way, he could taste it.
  3. Garza is garbage. Sorry, that is a mean thing and not very productive to conversation but he is pure garbage.
  4. I can't even begin to describe how impressed I am that this team (and in particular Garza himself) overcame a 3 run, 40 pitch first inning from Garza.
  5. What a tidy and energy efficient 40 pitch 1st inning. Really nice work. And I'm being serious. I don't think many guys could do that if they actually tried.
  6. Complete dump in the bed...all over a golden opportunity.
  7. Totally agree with you Fondy. As frustrated as I feel at this very moment, I actually feel pretty confident about them long term. I like the rotation, but for some odd reason that I can't put my finger on I don't any confidence in Garza. I have more confidence in Wily and Estrada than I do Garza.
  8. As someone else pointed out, losing the series the DBacks is completely unacceptable and unnecessary. So annoying on so many levels. The DBacks aren't a very good baseball team at all. Last night's game and the last game in the Reds series were too very winnable games that were 100% gave away. I don't doubt that ARam is going to get his struggles righted, but everything about the way he's playing now stinks. And his body language is even worse. Hopefully the day off does something for him.
  9. Awful, awful decision. And that's not even hindsight. It was a terrible decision then, and it still sucks. It cost them the game. (JMO) That's the thing with ARam...throughout his career he's always struck me as just a guy with no particular passion or attachment to his team. He has one speed, one routine, and he's not deviating for anyone or anything. When he's hot or if he's struggling, he's still doing the exact same things. I'm not saying he's a bad person, or teammate or anything like that...just saying it matter-of-factly from a fan's perspective.
  10. Same. I tried to stay up as long as I could. Woke up in the middle of the night to check the scores on my phone. Ironic that Davis had such a critical hit given how bad his earlier ABs looked. So psyched for the team getting this win. I posted when they tied it up that it was such a huge mental wall broken through being able to overcome a 3 run deficit to tie it so late in a game.
  11. Eh boy...ARam to the clubhouse to get looked at. Reynolds to 3rd, Maldonado to 1s.t
  12. Yeah, really. I thought it looked inside. Nope, just checked game cast too. Was a pitch on the inner half but definitely a strike. Cool.
  13. Brew was able to climb back in this LATE in the game. That says a lot.
