  1. I am not too concerned about an alternate uniform as I am about some sort of alternate version of the bobble. You never know what the Brewers will do.
  2. OldSnapper and Brew City...you can't tell the difference between the SGA and the retail Pepsi version because both had Pepsi written on the back.
  3. Does anyone have the Fielder, Braun, or Hardy Big Heads pictured below they are willing to sell, preferably in the original box? (The two on the ends and the one in the middle.) Let me know. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/33a362a940c811504050e6e064b1c74e185ee82a.jpg
  4. I am starting the thread now to see if there is any information about the Melvin bobblehead game. I didn't know there was an alternate Braun this year until my mom called me while tailgating at the game to inform me she heard on the news there was going to be a talking version. I didn't believe her (nor got one at the gate) and therefore didn't inquire to see if others got one that I could trade for to add to my collection. So...if anyone hears anything about an alternate version please post it here so that we all may know ahead of time. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/c1036c1e4ff41a754961ef586cf2c81490564a06.jpg
  5. I have this bobble for sale without the box. Let me know if you're interested and send an offer. I would also be willing to trade. 6. I am looking to trade my extra pinstripe Suppan for a pinstripe Hoffman from earlier this year. I also have extra Kendall and Suppan bobbles that I would like to trade for the Brat racing sausage from this year...a 1 to 1 trade that is.

  8. So I've been planning on going to the August 30th game to celebrate my son's first birthday, which happens to fall on that day. The other thing that falls on that day is the Jeff Suppan bobble giveaway, and as we all know that means exaggerated prices on all tickets. Originally it was to be my wife, son, and I (so 2 tickets) but we are now trying to turn it into an extended family affair. I am specifically looking for any tickets $30 and under and not in Terrace or Terrace Reserved. If you have any available or know where I can get my hands on some please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated!
  9. I am looking for an extra bat for a bobblehead. I would prefer a black bat without the threads (for screwing it in) on the end, but just about anything would help. If you have one please let me know. Thanks!
  10. Am I missing something, or is the coach pose of the Wisconsin Woodchucks Gantner from this year exactly the same as last years? Can anyone confirm?
  11. Chips on the skin have always been a problem for me since the colors are always different. I usually just try to make the glaring white mark of a chip less noticeable with a similar skin tone color marker. I know I used the same brown marker on a Cordero and a Weeks that I obtained. I also have used a "flesh" colored crayon to fill in a small chip on a Molitor that I received damaged during shipping. (Please, no "politically correct" rants about the "flesh" colored crayon by Crayola...) Sorry if this isn't what you are looking for. As far as paint, I have always used Testors enamel paints on my bobbles to change uniforms, but never used them on skin since trying to match the skin tone is near impossible. Hope this helps!
  12. I bought a broken one for now since I am pretty handy at fixing them. I'll keep it in my collection until I can get one for cheaper. As with every bobble the longer you wait the cheaper they are.
  13. I am going to be going to the game if you want me to get the bobbles for you. As it sits right now I don't have tickets, but my wife and I are looking for some. We will use these tickets for admission, but if we can find 5 seats at a reasonable price we will use those to sit with some of our friends. Let me know!
  14. Ok...here is what I have. The 2001 Pepsi series has the name on the front (Geoff Jenkins, Bob Uecker, Robin Yount) with Pepsi on the back. The 2001 Geoff Jenkins SGA has Piggly Wiggly on the front and Pepsi on the back. The 2001 Robin Yount SGA has Pick'n'Save on the front and Pepsi on the back. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Bob Uecker Pepsi and SGA are identical with Bob Uecker on the front and Pepsi on the back.) The 2002 Pepsi series has the name on the front (Richie Sexson, Ben Sheets, Hank Aaron) with Pepsi on both sides. The 2002 Richie Sexson SGA has the name on front, Jewel Osco on the left side, and Pepsi on the right side. The 2002 Ben Sheets SGA has the name on front, Piggly Wiggly on the left side, and Pepsi on the right side. The 2002 Hand Aaron SGA has the name on front, Pick'n'Save on the left side, and Pepsi on the right side. (Apparently 2002 was the year of the food store sponsorship!) It is good to finally have this info on Brewerfan.net so that people can prevent buying fakes...i.e. buying a Pepsi giveaway in a SGA box, which usually is a little bit more money. Here are the pics. 2001 Pepsi Series Front http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/319365c242f716dd4e22e7ea6062c0e02bf2a09e.jpg 2001 Pepsi Series Back http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/a6316c421049ed6dcd2f84e3133590e3f2f49ae7.jpg 2001 SGA Front (no Uecker) http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/cd616d4e1e42e963c39252d02ab10f0954d79740.jpg 2001 SGA Back (no Uecker) http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/05636ecc49811434459de9a96a82cf6a31f7a4c0.jpg 2002 Pepsi Series (so you can see the Pepsi logo on the left side, distinguishing them from the SGAs) http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/28526a443918c4e5ec865bced90026c4b2f8b38c.jpg 2002 SGA Front http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/19916742154ded6ec83948f3ad8572202e806904.jpg 2002 SGA Left Side (3 different sponsors) http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/00916643184dea69ce4ea1287e8544a73e871dba.jpg 2002 SGA Right Side (Pepsi sponsor) http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/f9036e50467a1f684f7fea8d6cd4cd2c4571d47c.jpg
  15. I am in need of 5 tickets to the June 28th game. If you have any available please let me know where and your price. Thanks!
  16. Umm...I think that award goes to the Bratwurst! J/K
  17. Here are a couple of collections for sale. These are to be sold as one big collection so please make an offer. Consideration may be made on offers for each set (listed by the bold heading) but these are not sold individually. All are in their original boxes except the set labeled as "Unboxed Bobbleheads." I know this is a Brewer board, but there aren't any Brewers included in the lot. 18. LOF has privileges to view this site, and since they saw the popularity of having a signing they no doubt bullied their way into a contract with Gamel to profit from this. Once again the fun and excitement of getting autographs has been corrupted by corporate greed. My suggestion for this same situation in the future...don't post anything until the signing date is set.
  19. That was my main concern and the reason why I didn't want it at first. The base is completely sealed from what I can tell. I don't know if the talking mechanism was put in there and then the base sealed and painted, or if the base was forged around the mechanism. I'd be interested to know in the future if any of them break so that we can get a look at the inner workings and see if there is any way to repair these if the battery runs out.
  20. For those keeping track, I am no longer in the running to obtain one of these as I have gotten one. Thanks.
