My shyness has severly inhibited my in-person autograph collecting too. The only in-person signature that I have ever received (not that opportunites for others didn't exist; infact, they have been numerous) was Nashville's Callix Crabbe. He was really cool about signing and seemed happy to do it. I feel much more comfortable using the postal service, which I do extensivly. Most of my attempts have been successful. I've only had five to six fall off the face of the earth in about 55 attempts. Last year I was able to get Parra, Gallardo, and Braun (all shortly after being called up from Nashville). This year I got Branyan and DiFelice (again, just after being called up). Both of the ones from this year got back to me in about two weeks.
