If Lawrie can land Marcum then I have to imagine Cain + Jeffress could land Garza. Edit: Do you think Gomez + Jeffress + Rivas/Peralta/Scarpetta would get it done?
I need to take my kittens to get fixed so I'd appreciate suggestions on where to take them. I live on the east side, but I'm open to any vets within 25 miles. Thanks in advance for your help. Yovani and Yoshimi thank you too. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/6cf36f103f28d2ac6a02955fe7e5a41a58eb9347.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/24426a3300d0d60296ee20abe64724ff8bed02fb.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/e65269635bd7e6c299ee20a0ca0bcf8ef37cc56d.jpg
Unfortunately I think it's bigger than the rest of the FA contracts this years. It will play into arby cases and future FA signings too. The players union has to be ecstatic.
Thank you for sharing the link. I liked the trade before I saw the pictures but now I love it. Lawrie will have to play Edward 40 hands with LaBatt now.
Adding Greinke to a rotation of Yo, Marcum, Wolf, and Narvy/Cappy would make the Brewers honest-to-god contenders. Let's roll those dice. Edit: I'd hate to gut the farm system, but I'm pretty excited about the Marcum move.
This is a silver lining I want to believe. Good point. What's not to like? The fact that Marcum has been a legit #2 guy for all of one season, and doesn't throw hard enough to give himself any room for error.Marcum's swing and miss rate was well over average (10.8% to 8.4%). So he's not pitching to contact. Go look at clips of him. His stuff is nasty. The ball moves everywhere. The guy is good. Could you post a few links? All I am finding is garbage on YouTube and Google.
Any chance an extension with Marcum is on the way? It would make losing Lawrie sting a lot less. Regardless, I really like the move if it is Lawrie for Marcum because the Brewers need pitching, and I don't think the Brewers would trade Lawrie if they didn't think they could extend Weeks.
The no-trade comment was from Doug Melvin himself, not me. Doug Melvin has said publicly that pitchers no-trade clauses have prevented deals from happening. He mentioned that there was 24 or 25 pitchers that would block a deal to Milwaukee because they had no trade clauses. I'm not very happy with Doug Melvin and the fact that he hasn't gotten the Brewers pitching by trade regardless of no trade clauses or not. I'm saying that there is no way Doug Melvin can justify not getting pitching via trade this off-season now and this proves it. I understand that you are unhappy with Melvin, but he cannot force a player to waive his no trade clause.
I'm currently winning at $225, but there is no way it will stay that low. The seller should have sold during the season as he/she would have made much more money.
That sounds like a horrible situation. I feel for you man. This is going to sound cold, but you need to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. You cannot fix the situation and you have an obligation to keep your daughter in a safe and healthy environment.
