  1. with consideration to the schedule over the next few weeks, it'd be nice to have 1st place today. get em shaun!
  2. cards hitters seeing the ball well so far off greinke. not a good sign early.
  3. i never thought i'd see the day that brewerfan.net would be pulling for a 40 year old CC to start at short.
  4. game is blacked out on mlb.tv in the new york area....figures. and no i do not own a tv.
  5. are people seriously complaining about Greinke? wow.
  6. i'm not sure why people are siding with lucroy over wolf considering the history of both players.
  7. Marcum will almost certainly command at least $13 million a year. I'd guess he signs 4 years/$56 million, wherever he may end up.
  8. any opinion based off of a sample size of 7 ABs should be disregarded immediately.
  9. Going to all three games this series. As disappointing as the results have been, the Brewer turnout has been GREAT. I moved around to a bunch of different sections with my Gallardo jersey on and didn't get hassled by anyone. Nats Park is pretty good, but it will be a lot better when they develop the area around it (and field a winning team of course!)
  10. He helped carry us to our first post season appearance in 26 years. I realize his arm folded just at the end, but to discredit the entire 2008 body of work would be ludicrous. This guy was just as much a part of our success in 2008 as CC, Ryan and Prince.
  11. That would have been awesome if he opened up his career giving up a HR to CC
  12. I am REALLY excited for Tommy Hanson's MLB debut. This kid is the real deal and should be for many years to come. With that said, I hope he picks up an L!
  13. Another classless win. For anyone who is keeping score, we're on pace for 99 classless wins. HUUAHHHHHH!
  14. How refreshing is it to have a closer that pounds the strike zone?
  15. I am partially sickened by the way this has been handled so far. Sveum's words are telling. He clearly feels as if he has been burned. If Melvin didn't want Sveum (which is most likely the case), he should have let him know that from the onset. You just don't burn bridges in sports this easily, especially someone so loyal to your organization. Sveum has clearly been soured by this experience. For the record, I don't think Sveum is the guy to lead us, but I feel bad for Sveum and wish him luck.
  16. I'm in College Park, MD. So yea, it's national. Caught me by surprise.
  17. Features the user looking up Brewers scores. And then shows the FSN Wisconsin feed of Ryan Braun's walk-off GS with Brian Anderson's call. Pretty cool commercial. Pay attention next iPhone commercial you see! Note: Prominently featured in the NLCS on Fox.
  18. I hope we keep CC, but it just wouldn't make sense. CC will be looking for at least 6 years. I predict the Dodgers sign him for 7 years $150 million. Either way, I am a CC fan from now on and will root for him against any team besides the Crew!
  19. Honestly, I know its a pipe dream. But I can always hold out hope this holiday season... http://ccsanta.ytmnd.com
