I don't know how everyone feels, but I can't sleep tonight. It's not because I am so happy that the Brewers are in the NLCS (and believe me I have been celebrating). I'm past that. I cannot sleep because I feel as though I am celebrating on a loan. It doesn't mean all that much that we won a division or a playoff series--this season isn't about making baby steps. This season is about winning a championship. Baseball is a funny sport and we all know how hard it is to make it back. A special team like this only comes around so often. We have a team that is now the favorite to play and possibly WIN a world series. How many times in my lifetime will I get to see that? Life is too short and baseball is a funny game. I'm all-in on this team like its the last season I'll ever have. I won't stand for anything short of the pennant. Let's beat those birds dead. http://unrealitymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/mario.jpg
hey you sound like me! i am in brooklyn and watch all the games from my apt usually by myself. i've been going to bars to watch the playoff games around williamsburg but it would be cool to get a brewerfan nyc gamewatch.
It's almost midnight, I just want to go to bed. But the pitching has been fun to watch tonight.don't get me wrong, i'm staying up on the east coast for this. im just more stressed now than i am at work!
just got back from the game. lots of brewer fans in attendance. i was able to get good seats for cheap on the brewers side. after seeing two games in yankee stadium and two at citi, i have to say i like citi better.
you're correct, i just have the basic package. to be honest i kind of like being forced to watch the opponents feed for away games because it gives you a different perspective on the game. the DVR capabilities of the upgraded package are nice though.
i live in new york and i can only watch games on mlb.tv. the feed is always through the home broadcast, so i get to listen to rock and BA have the time and other team's broadcasts the other half. i'll say this: brewer fans don't know how good they have it with FSNW. some of the other productions are absolutely horrible. i really enjoy BA and i think rock does a fine job for what his analysis calls for. people need to remember that the hardcore fans on sites like brewerfan.net make up a very small percentage of baseball fans.
i went to the mets/yankees game at citi field on 4th of july weekend. liked it better than yankee stadium to be honest. the nassau county sightlines aren't great, but the park itself is really nice. citi field also has great concessions (i recommend the blue smoke).
