  1. Rickie will be better. All is peripherals suggest so. Just have faith people!!!
  2. I'm not a RR fan due to his style of management. Still, I don't have faith that we would be able to acquire a better skipper so this extension is OK in my book.
  3. Congrats to Kameron on picking up the W. His grandfather passed away yesterday and I'm sure that win means a lot to his family.
  4. Congrats to hawing for going 2-0 with her Mitch Stetter t-shirt this year. The season rides on you!
  5. That looks like a really bad deal. Furcal is not a 7mm a year player anymore.
  6. this is exactly what i came to post. good day sir!
  7. hawkins is truly a great guy. anybody who follows him on twitter knows this. anyways, i think he's a two million dollar reliever at best. a team like the brewers can't be paying for team chemistry.
  8. I can't speak in terms of numbers, but there have been both success stories and horror stories tied to small market teams winning big. The Blue Jays (not exactly small market) seemed to score big in the early 90s when they went on their run. I also think it would have been very difficult for the Twins to build a new field if they had continued their losing ways in the early 00s. However, both of the Florida teams have done very little to parlay their success.
  9. the brewers are the favorite in vegas to win tonight at -126 (moneyline to win).
  10. the brewers are favorites in vegas. -126 moneyline to win.
  11. Hart Hairston Braun Fielder Weeks Betancourt Lucroy Gomez Greinke that's how I would play it.
  12. i will give credit to RRR. he pushed the right button with hairston.
  13. Not with 2 outs and nobody on.ron washington agenda alert.
  14. None of the pitchers can get anyone out, the chances of winning a game there seems pretty small. we have a lineup too! it's baseball. each game is closer to a coin flip than people seem to believe.
  15. don't forget. just win ONE of these three games and we're back to having homefield advantage. get off the ledge people...
  16. for what it's worth, the vegas moneyline for the series right now is STL -120/MIL even. virtually a toss up with the slightest edge to the cardinals.
  17. first team to four wins. both teams are tied at one win. seems to me like there is still a lot in play here. in my opinion, i think folks are panicking because they aren't used to rooting for the brewers as the favorite and it doesn't appear like we are going to cruise to an easy win. well guess what, there are no easy wins in the playoffs in any sport. just enjoy the ride. we could win and we very well could lose. either way, no one should be miserable when the brewers are playing october baseball. i think we win in 6.
