    I could have gone to that aforementioned promotion at the club, but I was sick. My friend went and said it was a huge letdown. The players pretty much went straight into the VIP area. He did ask Braun if he wanted his autograph, though. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I figure any place that can kick you out if your shoulder seams are a half inch too low isn't any place I want to hang out, anyway.

    You got it. Until the Cards beat the Brewers, they (announcers, players, fans, you name them) will grasp at straws to maintain their perceived moral superiority because they're the classiest organization in baseball.

    The difference is the Brewers used to be the punching bag. Pittsburgh is lashing out because we are what they want to be. Chicago and STL are pouting because they can no longer mark Milwaukee as an automatic W. Braun takes the brunt of it because he tends to make a spectacle of himself. Which I love. God forbid a young ballplayer enjoy playing the game. It's great when ballplayers show some emotion on the field. It's entertaining, which is kind of the entire point of watching. I read in the MJS that Braun went into the clubhouse to see his diving catch and said, "That's the best catch I ever saw." That is hilarious and anyone who can't laugh at that either has no sense of humor, or is chugging the Haterade.

    I know it's a long shot, but I figured I had to take a shot here. I have a ticket for this weekend's Saturday game in Minneapolis for sale. Right behind home plate, field level. Please PM if interested.

    If you're inconvenienced by someone sitting next to you, don't leave your house. You're not ready for the outside world. I say go for it if you can get away with it. If you get caught, don't put up a fight. If you make it, don't do anything stupid that would call attention to yourself. I don't do it, but I like my bleacher seats so it never crosses my mind.

    Retro stuff once a month is a good idea. It's not overkill, a lot of the fans like it, and why not celebrate the greatest logo in the history of logos a few times a year? I'm all for the "Milwaukee" on the road jerseys. The team isn't called the 5-County Area Brewers.

    Last month I ordered something. They said it could take up until May 12 to arrive. So when I didn't get it very soon, I thought it was just taking a while. Turns out it was delivered 2 days after I ordered it and the only reasonable explanation left is that somebody just took it from my door. And I live in an apartment building, could have been anybody. I hope they enjoy their dirty Blu Rays while I'm out $50.

    Appropriate answer: In St. Louis, you should go get some right now. I generally go with High Life or Icehouse (more %AV). And I absolutely never ever bring a hip flask into the stadium. Because that's wrong.

    Could be worse, you could work 2nd shift and be stuck inside until 10:30 tonight. In a related story, working 2nd shift sucks.
