  1. ...and now 23 games under .500 since Brandon and the Lakers' pick was donated in the MCW disaster.
  2. Agreed. Good luck to Jean. Not his fault the 'crew traded him...and I supported the deal. Hopefully a win for all involved.
  3. Scooter is a nice player for a team that is going to lose 90 games.
  4. Haven't seen this thread as of yet. Delete if I'm duplicating. Record: 70-92; 4th place in the NL Central Team MVP: Ryan Braun Home Runs: Domingo Santana; 35 Wins: Jimmy Nelson, 14 Bold Predictions: Colin Walsh gets 300 At-bats, at least 3 players get 50 starts at 3rd base, Jonathan Lucroy is still in Milwaukee on Sept 1st. Go 'Crew!
  5. "Just to reiterate what we are watching with Giannis - he now has the most triple doubles by a player under 22 other than Magic Johnson in NBA history." G was awesome last night. If the Bucks can get a "3-and-D" guard to play with him and Parker continues to ascend (and be at least adequate on D)...we could be seeing the start of something truly fun to watch.
  6. Partick425...we are from a time when the Garden State Bowl and the NIT equated an excellent sports year!
  7. 5 trips to the Sweet 16 in the past 6 years is amazing. I'm 48 years old; because of being traumatized by Wisconsin basketball in my formative years, I'm still having adjustment issues with having nice things...
  8. On, Wisconsin! What a fun game! Very "1999".
  9. His "wolfpack" days with the Phillies were fun!
  10. One more shooter to extend defenses and then a healthy Henson would go a long way to a playoff run. I value a veteran combo guard (Dudley was great) to round things out. I don't mind MCW as the back-up PG, so long as Kidd plays him as such.
  11. Am I wrong to pick Oklahoma to win the whole thing in a couple of brackets?
  12. I'm waiting for JJ Redick to also be included.
  13. I would trade any two players (other than G) and our 1st round pick for Boggie...in a heartbeat!
  14. Both trades gave the "crew pieces of what constructed at least the 2nd-best team in the NL each year. I'm ok with that.
  15. Jabari is only 20 and really still in his rookie year. He isn't very good on D yet and still pretty average on offense. He simply has to play, but we need to build a defensive scheme (as Baldkin points out) that fits our players. The Packers don't try to play a 4-3 with their defense. This is sort of what Kidd is trying to do. Also...MCW is vastly overvalued as a defender.
  16. Love to have Powell back.
  17. I'm still upset about Gorman for Manning and Waits in '83!
  18. Toyko Giants!
  19. Hard to build an NBA team that can't shoot...
  20. I hope the MCW trade works out for the best and Kidd is proven to be correct. My bias is towards Knight and the game he brings to the floor. I think he could have ran the offense Jason wants to run (and Kidd cold make some adjustments, too). Given where the team is at now, I do want to see G and Parker get the first touches on offense. If Monore ends up to focal point of the offensive game, that would be disappointing.
  21. So if the option was Knight V MCW and Middleton; I would have kept Knight.
  22. I liked Knight in Milwaukee quite a bit because he could do things like make a 3 and score at the end of the clock. If Kidd thought we had to move him, fine. But I'm questioning the return (MCW) and do some extend, the system. I know one part of coaching is to match the pieces that you have, rather than toss out on piece that you might struggle to find a fit (a fit that was leading the Bucks in points an assists, BTW).
  23. Not that we are counting, but I think the Bucks are 11 under .500 since the Knight trade.
  24. Russell forgot that his best move is to sometimes do...nothing.
