  1. Green and Orange would be awesome!
  2. I really enjoyed the chat room when it was active. The real-time discussion was very, very fun.
  3. If Bo plays any 1-3-1 on Saturday, the earth will crash into the sun (not that I'm against the 1-3-1).
  4. Dekker is close to a lottery pick, in my opinion. I'd like him to stay as well, but if he can get paid, obviously he should. I'm not sure what Sam has left to prove at Wisconsin.
  5. "There is also absolutely no way Braun is leading off either. That would be quite a waste of power. The only reason they do it with Gomez is because of his extreme speed which Braun really doesn't have." It would get more AB's for our best hitter and the guy hitting leadoff only comes up (typically) once a game w/o runners on base. I do like the idea of Ryan hitting #2 as well, as mentioned it would limit bunting from the 2-spot.
  6. I like Ryan hitting leadoff V lefties. I'd consider hitting him leadoff V righties as well and be done with it; make it easy on RRR.
  7. Since I grew up hoping and celebrating an NIT bid, all this feels very much like an out-of-body experience.
  8. Record:85-77 Playoffs: Just miss on the #2 WC MVP: Go-Go Surprise: Peralta pitches like aces; 3 different pitchers record at least 10 saves Disappointment: Fiers All stars: Lucroy Gomez Peralta Bold prediction: Melvin moves a starting pitcher for a 3rd base prospect by the July 31st deadline
  9. Khris Middleton is turning into a real nice player. With last night's win, somehow, the Bucks are locking into the #5 seed.
  10. I know this might sound silly, but what about hitting Ryan leadoff?
  11. Correct. Never milwaukee's pick to hold. Even if it was, that Laker pick for MCW might still be a fair deal. I really like today's action for the Bucks. While it might slow down the 2014-15 train, certainly gives them cheaper and more flexibility in their assists. MCW, Jarbi and Giannis is s pretty good foundation.
  12. I would totally make that trade with Utah. We get cap space, get a big to replace Larry and only move a mid-range #1. Seems like a plus deal. I am sad that Larry went off the rails. When the Bucks played at the Target Center early in the season I went to the game with my daughter and her pals. Larry did a post-game for the radio and we slid down near court-side. Afterwards he thanked the girls for coming, was all smiles and really turned on the charm. I know this is just one experience, but I feel bad that this is how he ends in Milwaukee.
  13. Could a cap be placed on how many pitchers a team could carry? Also, there has been this idea floating around that you could use a PH at anytime in the game, but then re-enter the pitcher after the at-bat. The PH would be done, but the pitcher could continue. While both these ideas interest me, I sort of like this new dead-ball era.
  14. If the Bucks add a player, it has to be another mobile D-First player. Agreed with the above comments on the right fit. Many of us remember Anthony Mason's addition. That was like steak sauce on ice cream.
  15. I'm quietly pulling for A-Rod. I was never a fan, but now I think I support him (some) due to the excessive criticism directed at him. Like the heel in WWE.
  16. This would place pressure on the Governor Walker to at least reconsider his standing on the Kenosha decision. In my opinion, it would be hard to turn down these funds. Granted, I'm biased towards the arena and gambling!
  17. I like this year's version of OJ Mayo.
  18. Tonight's win was awesome!
  19. Oh, don't misunderstand, Bucky. I support the plan. Sorry if I implied otherwise. I see why some might not, but given the current world-view of the decision-makers, I'm quite pleased with this plan.
  20. This plan protects the public from future liabity. It does stunt a revenue stream, but doesn't put the state on the hook for any future liability. I hate Scott Walker like most public employees, but I'll give him credit on the one. Of course, I'm a biased Bucks fan.
  21. Great day for the Bucks!
  22. I live in Western Wisconsin and listen to Cory on occasion and the Twins broadcasts. He is outstanding.
  23. I'm with Brew4U and Bill hAll on this one.
  24. Me and Abby; circa 2007. She is now a (sometimes) brooding teen and I'm not nearly as photogenic these days.
  25. If someone had a grand to blow (I do not), then why not?
