  1. I'm still curious about how he might succeed in the closer's role...understood he has move value as a solid starter...still wonder if he could be an effective late-inning guy.
  2. You do not. That is T-wolves territory. When I lived in EC, I had to get the NBA-Ticket to watch the Bucks. Sadly, I did.
  3. I saw that too and was confused. I suppose from the Dever end of things it gives then a bit better defender and quicker player at the point. Good idea on the Iverson/Mellow combo, but never panned out. I wonder if Detroit is after something bigger come post-season with those cap dollars? In between now and then; I suppose this loads them up for a run...but I'm not sure how Iverson is that much better then Billups.
  4. The brick red is an official color, but only used in what they call the cooperate logo.
  5. OKC is...not good. I'd expect Alexander to play more as the year goes on. Maybe I'm wrong, but at this point (only 2 games) I like the rotation in one aspect; Skiles is getting minutes out of his roster spots. I thought one of the big downfalls last year is Larry played his 7 or 8 guys and that was that. The one 'big' tool a coach has is playing time. Throw that in with trying to find some role that has value and those things alone will make this team better.
  6. LRMAM should take the role (all be it in a different position on the floor) that Dez was suppose to have. If he can play 20-25 minutes a game @ the 4/5 that would be great. I still think Allen is going to play a bit more then we might think...think 1992 Packers with Harry Sidney.
  7. If it is Macha, let's hope for the 'do no harm' approach. I wonder about the apparent falling out between him and Kendall, but I'll assume that has or is being addressed.
  8. In 'Moneyball' didn't Beane keep Macha on a real short rope? Maybe that is what DM is looking for; some to not get in the way?
  9. I knew someone would have started this thread. You guys are always ahead of the curve. Right now I really hate it, but I'm sure I'll adapt. I'm with Joe that the previous page had a better lay-out, and I find this one hard to read. Usually I oppose all change, so take that for what it's worth.
  10. I'm guessing we will be Bogut get the ball more, but asked to pass it as well. If Redd and the other shooters get their shots off 'in-side out' ball movement, they might be on to something. I'm going to disagree a bit that Redd, CV, RJ and Bogut can't give the Bucks enough offense to compete...I see it as the need for more points someplace rather then asking these guys to 'carry' the scoring. That mind-set is (IMO) what led to the last two seasons of disaster. If RJ has been negative on Milwaukee, I have largely missed it. He didn't want to get traded, but I certainly hope he is more mature then Bell was last year. The JS did say Jefferson met with the Bucks brass as the trade was going down...I'm hoping that means he was somewhat supportive of coming to Milwaukee. It might be a one-season stop anyway...
  11. CV has a role, but not this role. I suspect he will (or should) take that 6th-man role pretty quickly; thus my thoughts on Allen.
  12. I'm in for that 30-35 range. However, the product will be greatly improved (hard for it not to be). I suspect Allen is going to play much more of a role then we think. Not sure if that is good, but I can see him getting a ton of minutes because of his ability to defend some and his past experience with Skiles. I worry about the PG position more than the other shortcomings. Bench points are going to be an issue, too. However, this is just step one and (so far) it seems this administration is trying to put together players that 'fit' with each other rather then a fantasy team approach.
  13. Agreed with EC-NWL. Slap that up and move on.
  14. the new Hooters in Brookfield (or wherever) is certainly part of the One-World-Government movement.
  15. Certainly needs to be something for the 2008 team. I never thought of something for 1981. I should have. They deserve something too. Since making the post-season is pretty difficult relative to all the other pro-sports, I'm of the opinion that all playoffs (baseball) teams should get some sort of ink on the wall.
  16. Maybe Bigfoot rides his UFO back to the homeplanet shortly before his death to communie with Elvis and Jim Morrison.
  17. http://www.onlineworldofw...es/a/adnan-el-kaisee.html I believe in conspiracies against the 'Arab World.'
  18. Some theme orientated programming would be interesting, like 'biggest comebacks' and instructional stuff (as mentioned) like different theories on hitting or the slide step.
  19. I was thinking along the line of Rulz...some shorter deal that is around $33-million per, over 3 or 4 years. CC gets paid, but also gets to be a FA again still near his peak years.
  20. I'm going to wonder out-loud if Bobby would be the right fit for this team? I certainly don't know, but he is quite the personality. Would he become a distraction? I know his act in New York got pretty old (or seemed to from what was reported at the time). Doesn't 'seem' to be a fit with DM.
  21. Unless a candidate comes forward that is clearly better then Dale, I'd prefer the 'Crew stays with him.
