    Neat! Congrats. I assume it's your first? Enjoy the ride. My little one drives me nuts sometimes (she is 7) but is the best thing I got going (even better then the new flat-screen).

    Of course it is straight forward and common sense. So is weight loss...ever look around at all the people that know better in that arena too? I'd dare to guess if a person could combine a weight loss/finance advise book it would make that author a few coins.

    Valpo "Represent!" I can't say that I'm 100% adherent to Dave, but I try my best and know our finances have improved a lot. I try to get bits and pieces of the show each week. Really, it's pretty much a rehash every-night, but a great 'marker' for me of the path to be on. Again, just for me it has been an outstanding program. No more "stupid-tax" for this guy!!!

    I know that I have not spent a dime on Dave's stuff and have knocked out over 50% of our debt and will be free (save the mortgage) by November. Pretty much any plan will work if you spend less then you make and stay on your plan...like a diet I suppose.

    Have a DR appointment today...he is going to tell me that I have a blown disc in my back. I did this about 12 years ago and since then lost about 45 pounds and work out just about everyday...and then it happens again. I am not amused.

    I guess this is an example in baseball where a team like LA can move on pretty well from a contract like this, but if KC, the 'Crew or another team on the shallow end of the payroll pool did this...it would be really bad.

    No question that Minnesota had the best athletes on the floor last night.

    I know my bias is that nothing good comes from a strikeout and the putting the ball in-play may result in something positive for the offense. Baseball also doesn't allow (in scoring the game) for an assumption of a double play...so I usually have that in my thoughts an apply that to the batter as well as the fielder.

    No school in the La Crosse area. Pretty universal here.

    I don't know the best way to put this, but I'd like to see the 'Crew have more of a 'team concept' to hitting. For example, all the hitters go the other way on a certain pitch or in a certain count. Things like that. A theme that sort of links the hitters together (understanding that most of hitting is an individual art).

    Can't win if you don't get in. I'd take it. #8 seed is similar (but not nearly as cool) as the 'Crew getting the WC.

    I guess I'd go with Conley over Alexander, but that is just my opinion. Others here value Sessons more then I. To me, he isn't close to the player that even Luke is.

    Would you trade Alexander for Conley straight up? Or, if they were both in the same draft, which would you take first?

    Just my opinion, but I do like Bogut's 'game.' While he seems to be shaping up as a secondary-type player, he sure is a guy to keep. RJ might be one and done here. At this point I hope he cna be flipped and CV can stay...never thought it would shake out that way.

    Not a specific show, but to me I've enjoyed any concert that I have ever done in Vegas. I think it is the environment, but the artists seems to really 'bring it' out there. The TI show is quite cool.

    Jonny's HR off the foul pole in...03 I think? Game didn't mean much but it was pretty exciting. The 8,000 people there sounded like 100,000.
