  1. ANy thoughts about going with Jeff C here?
  2. I would have kept him in too. That is part of the game. Hard to think that a guy might get hurt so you don't let him go when he is crusing. I thought the ball hit the ground 1st. If so, that would have slowed it down. Didn't seem like he reacted in a way that he was really hurting, FWIT.
  3. I thought he was out, but doesn't matter to much. We need to get a couple more yet, time for the boys to role up some stats for contract time!
  4. I didn't know Bill Walton was so good @ frisbee
  5. Sounds like you need some alole! Way 2go Rickie! Saved our bacon today!
  6. C'mon Derrick! USe the #1 'till they hit it!
  7. Bwaz, careful you are going to burst into flames!
  8. Ok, Chis I understand that. I guess I think the odds of needing the 3rd Catcher are low(I'm sure Billy Hall can do everything!). Just in that spot i know you are rolling the dice a bit, but it is a chance to win too. If we fear ever hitting for Moeller, maybe we need to add a utility guy that could catch in a pinch, or at least anotehr postion player for another bat. Maybe the call up of Vinny would solve this.
  9. Great win! Very fun. Wondering why Ned didn't hit for Moeller in the 8th?
  10. This allows me to continue my one-person jihad against Matt Wise.
  11. The Indians must go thru some serious food bills during the season.
  12. I guess we see why Gabe is < than Corey......The part of this that blows is that you guys are right in the now Hart will end up on a milk carton.
  13. Corey Hart. WoooHoo! He may be #8, but at least he is in. Now, start that climb to the middle of the order Chttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/glasses.gif rey!
  14. Bill Hall=God Derrick Turnbow=Doug Henry
  15. Well, you should be despite tonight's unusual performance. Matt Wise has been a terrific pitcher since the start of last season for us. Check the stats when you get a chance. I guess I get overly fustrated with relief pitchers and I am sure that I'm unfair. That said, back-to-back home runs on 0-2 pitches...hard to deal with. I've posted here before that IMO, Matt doesn't really have an 'out pitch'. Depending upon a chance to be that pitch is, again in my opinion, going to be short-lived. Hope I'm wrong, but him in the set-up role is not where I see him being an overly vaulable member of a top-tier pen.
  16. Not, it's not funny at all. A tenured professor can slack off because once he has tenure, he basically has to shoot someone or have relations with a student to get canned. Hopefully the exception, rather than the rule.
  17. I wonder if all these games @ Pittsubrg are just predestend to go this way. Like the outcomes are some biblical cure.
  18. I work with a couple of Phillies fans, as of Tuesday, I'm thinking they will never speak to me again. Man is tomorrow a big game!
