    Pretty hard to, in my opinion, not put Raines in. He was one of the great ones of his era, maybe the second best leadoff hitter of his era.

    Just my opinion, but I thought that Jim Rice might have been a bit better.

    Can you bring him up for 06 with the role of being OF #5 and a PH? I know that might be a hard role for him to accept and usually you see older guys in that role, but sure seems to be where Dave is going anyway. Plus, he would be on the cheap end.

    When you are an average or a bit below average team, this is what you get. Teased just enough to think that you are better than what you are, but not bad enought to really know you are not any good. Looking back at this, I have decided that I am pretty average!
