    I have quit caring at this point this team is backing into the playoffs if they even get there and with the giant hole at the back of the lineup I'd be shocked if they won a game in the playoffs. It's pretty sad if this is as good as it gets...

    I would say McGehee is closer to below average/bad and Green is closer to average/slightly below average. That's what I thought, its to bad the announcers are trying to make excuses for why he's still out there...

    The guy is almost certainly the everyday first baseman next year all he did was hit .300 in AAA with 28 bombs and he can't get called up to be a left handed bat off the bench. I understand Kotsay is a veteran and all but what more does that guy have to do to get a shot?

    At this point we have to be in win now mode and I can't fathom how Green or Gamel give us a worse chance to win the running Counsell out there. We have defensive replacements up the middle so there is zero upside to him taking a roster spot.

    I haven't read the whole thread but is it possible that Melvin is worried about the fan's reaction to the Counsell getting DFA'd? I understand that he is a solid defender on routine plays but he has about as much range as the rest of the infield. I don't think he brings anything to the table at this point and is taking a roster spot from someone that could contribute.

    Pretty over the top but I have enjoyed the first two episodes so far. I'm still wondering why they didn't go back to find out what happens with his missing wallet.

    My cousin's wife hooked us up with ridiculous tickets on Saturday night. We were 7 rows behind Mark A and Doug Melvin. I shook Mark's hand and thanked him for helping make us relevant again. Also stood up and yelled T Plush when Nyger came up and got the finger point and head nod. Overall it was a great experience and I didn't have any problems with Sox fans.

    Leuer needs to stay down low and kick the ball out to the shooters. I can't remember him making a three in awhile. There offense has not been right for awhile, hopefully with a couple extra days off and a good match up they can win a couple games in the tournament. The way they have been playing lately I'm not sure that is gonna happen...

    I heard from a reliable source that Appleton's own Matt Erickson will be the T-rats new manager with Chris Isom moving up to Brevard County.

    I don't know how far off they are but with the crap they keep running out on the field I can't see it. Macha has pretty much sucked the life out of this team they don't look are having fun at all and aren't fun to watch right now. I had free tickets from the game found out Bush was pitching and decided not to waste my time. Unless Yo is pitching I don't plan on going to another game this year.

    I like how he led of the article on Escobar today by saying his errors on Sunday could impact the playoff hopes of the Brewers, really the Crew is 9 games out of the Wildcard and just lost their best pitcher.

    Its funny I was at the game on Saturday and reading the fan guide his favorite tv show is her nick show as well. I couldn't figure out if it was a joke or if being as young as he is that he is serious. It cracked me up either way.

    With the way Lawrie has adjusted to AA pitching at a young age and his willingness to switch positions I don't want to see him moved.
