  1. I'd hit a home run off him.
  2. who's the lone ranger on the far right side?? love the billowing trench coat.
  3. and I will be there. excited to see gomez up close and personal.
  4. math checks out for me http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. at this point if we lose the division it means we are really struggling which means we will likely fall behind atlanta again.
  6. but TTTTTTTTT sounds nothing like "booooooooo"! i was so puzzled as i walked out because i know i heard boooooo. maybe the acoustics distorted it or something.
  7. For anyone at the game or anyone on TV that could hear it: After Nyjer's walkoff, and the cheering had settled down a bit, why were a large amount of the crowd booing?? I couldn't figure it out. There was also a point earlier in the game when a section of RF was booing too. Any answers?
  8. no. i don't think braun ever goes nutso like that, screaming like a madman. and morgan is a quirky kind of nuts haha. semantics maybe.Oh yeah Braun does do that. Also Lawrie was playing for his favorite team and his home country that adds some special meaning to him. I don't see anything wrong with what he did maybe you like players to be robots and show no emotion but most people do not like that. I swear some fans in baseball want players to act like robots and show no emotion what so ever because that is how baseball is supposed to be played. When in baseball was there ever no emotion ever? Some baseball traditionalists, not saying that you are, forget about Ruth and others who did more showboating than any of the players today do. there is a huge difference between what braun does and what lawrie did. shouts of "yeah" versus guttural caveman screams. i enjoy players sitting in the dugout the entire game expressionless. especially on grand slams. blue?
  9. So I take it you hate Morgan and Braun also. no. i don't think braun ever goes nutso like that, screaming like a madman. and morgan is a quirky kind of nuts haha. semantics maybe.
  10. I won't be comfortable until we clinch. I have visions of a 9 game lead evaporating the last two weeks of the season. Look how much the NL Central has changed in just the last three weeks. I thnk the Brewers were .5 game behind the Pirates on July 24 and the Reds were three games out of first. yep, agreed. ebbs and flows come unexpectedly and inexplicably. (correct word usage?)
  11. i don't miss him and my reasons are entirely personality based haha. i get that it is a stupid reason. i'm not under any illusion that all our players are great guys but none are so blatantly...obnoxious like lawrie. facebook photos and his reaction to the grand slam. his reaction was outrageous. yeah you hit a grand slam, it's a great accomplishment but he is acting like he's a football player (i like that in my football players), throwing his helmet around, yelling like a caveman. some may like that, not me.
  12. from the post dispatch forum: It should also be said that Pujols has been terrible this series. 1-13 with a walk? Awful. It's awful, but it's not his fault. The Brewer pitchers have been head hunting the whole series. Plus, they hit him intentionally last night so he would not be 100% That is little league baseball on Brewers end.
  13. he's joking i assume. referencing last night. i don't like prince joking with yadier
  14. Idiot Mitch Williams on MLB Tonight defending Yadier. Saying it wasn't malicious. No bumps. Just some yelling. Acted as if nothing was wrong with it.
  15. agree. i admit i am a pessimist, i am hoping this doesn't start a slump.
  16. nope. and it will hurt really really bad. okay thank you
  17. hate being the pessimist but this one will really hurt if it goes south.
