    So Marlins clinch with a win. Looks like Reds are going to lose so they're eliminated. If Cubs win and Diamondbacks lose, Cubs would be one back with one to play? Do I have that right? Anyone know who has tiebreaker? Could we still end up with the stupid Cubs??

    I'll be so insanely anxious if we play the Cubs in Wildcard round. I'll be so disappointed too. I was going to go to one game and being overrun with bleeping Cubs fans will be miserable. Not sure I can do it.

    Prior to this story, my thought was he may step away for a few years and the smart move would be to move Pat Murphy up to manager. Either Pat Murphy does well and earns his own team or he graciously steps aside for Counsell's return in a couple of years.

    100%. So ridiculous. It's a fact he has four kids, two still in high school I believe. He's going to move his family to New York or be MUCH more away from them? All for David Stearns? So stupid. Both Antanassio and Arnold have hinted that Counsell is in driver's seat. Antanassio isn't rich but he's smart enough to know how valuable Counsell is. He'll pay what is needed. And Counsell is hugely connected to Milwaukee. He's not leaving his family to go to New York for some rebuild and David freaking Stearns. Sick of this crap.
