Strike two to Manny appeara to almost have hit him... True?
-
Totally agree. I think I was the first post or one of the first who was super bummed he was leaving. Just got results from mediocrity.
-
I really want to be sellers. Stearns wouldn't do it, and even if he wanted to, Attanasio would overrule him. There is ZERO chance in hell they could get the fans to be okay with that.. This is on DS..all on him..this team had problems awhile ago and instead of going out, being aggressive and getting someone, he just keeps thinking the players on the team will improve. This is what he gets...he has to own this. Period. I really believed Woodruff, Burnes and Peralta were going to be fine. So disappointing.
-
Just so painful to think about NLCS. We were close. Few things go differently we're in WS. Those opportunities don't come around often. Boy this sucks.
-
What a joke. Please become sellers.
-
Burnes is just baffling. Utterly baffling. Elite stuff, results in past and just poop this year. So frustrating.
-
I went to go do other things with Hader likely being pulled for some pitcher I've never heard of and a 6-1 lead and I thought to myself, I bet they come back. Sure enough.

No sure how much his versatility is worth but his bat wasn't worth much

Pressing cuz he knows he's the only hope.

Hope for the worst but expect the best hahaha -
I appreciate the optimism but I don't see the comparison to Houston. They had an outstanding farm and numerous young pieces. We don't.

I believe we're facing three lefties in this SD series. Will be interesting to see what Aguilar does.

Updated good and bad: Good: Yelich Woodruff Grandal Hader Moose? Bad: Everyone else

DFA Aguilar and option Shaw.

Pretty modest money... -
Sports are just nothing but misery. Nelson pitching like an ace in 2017 then catastrophic injury on freak play derails everything. Any time things start going well, expect heartbreak. Frustrating.

Does Aguilar have options?
