  1. I am surprised no one else has mentioned it, but WHERE IS WEEKS? He was replaced by Raburn in Game 1 and didn't play in game 2. He must have gotten hurt...
  2. Why is Raburn running for Weeks? Is he hurt?
  3. bottom of the 6th, 5-0 Indy Hendrickson has struck out 7 and given up only 3 hits, 2 of which were of the infield variety. other worthy notes that I've herad, Krynzel 2-4 with a lead off homer and an rbi single, 2 k's looking inbetween those two. And a SB. Hardy 0-4 Hart was on with a 2B when I tuned in. He scored on a double by Sheldon. Edit: Hendrickson taken out after giving up a walk. His line: 5.1 IN 3H 0ER (2 on) 2BB 7K Adams comes in with 2 on 1 out. Edit #2: Double Play! Hart grounds into DP. His line for the game thus far 2-3 solo HR, 2B IBB 2 R's RBI
  4. 0-0 in the bottom of the 4th 2 out, lost the feed. Both R.Nolasco and Ford are cruising. Ford has only given up one 1 hit. Fielder is 0-1 with a HBP, Weeks 1-2 with a single and k, Nelson 0-2 with a k. Edit: Oh, and Ryan Knox is not allowed to wash his hair until he hits a homer- orders of Kremblas. Four days and counting. Knox with lead off 2B(?), Fielder IBB, Weeks RBI single tied at 1-1, Nelson lined out and Fielder double off 2nd, Barnwell infield single, Weeks to thrid, pitching change, Johnson grounds out to 2nd. Top of the seventh: Stars down 4-1, Cruz walks Raburn RBI double (PH for B.Adams) Gwynn (0-3, 2k's) Raburn goes to 3rd on pb, scores on RBI ground out Knox ground out Fielder walk Weeks-(2-3,k) single, Fielder to third Nelson-(0-3, k) grounds out to 1st Stars down 4-3
  5. High Desert lost 5-4. Travis Hinton with another good day.
  6. Anyone have any updates of the High Desert Game? Just think if they won the Farm System would be 7-1 this weekend. I like that. 6-2 ain't bad either but i like 7-1 a lot better. High Desert is down 12-5 in the 9th, I'm thinking you may have to settle for 6-2. I am happy to speculate that the hamate bone is healed. Hey, how bout that Woah Solvdd kid!!!
  7. I don't think they get called up before Michalak. There hasn't been a situation like that, but it's all about options. I'm sure the need is played down by Yost and the announcers plenty.
  8. Not a great outing for De La Rosa. I think we may see Michalak sooner than later.
  9. Indy Game Summary: Despite a grand slam from Richmond?s Russell Branyan, Indianapolis (5-2) battled back from a 7-5 deficit to post an 8-7 victory. For the first time this year in a game contested by the Indians, the team that scored first, won. Indianapolis opened the contest in the first by scoring a pair of runs off Braves starter Chuck Smith. J.J. Hardy doubled to left field and came around to score on Jeff Liefer?s first home run of the season. Indianapolis added three more runs in the third to take a 5-0 lead, keyed by a pair of doubles from Hardy and Chris Coste. Tribe starter Pedro Liriano was rolling along, blanking the Braves in the first three innings. But in the fourth, Richmond scored its first run. Nick Green?s single to center scored Lee Evans. In the fifth, Branyan smashed a grand slam home run, chasing Liriano, notching the contest at five. The Braves batted around in that inning, pushing across another run on Green?s sacrafice fly to right, scoring Ryan Jackson. Richmond (3-5) scored again in the sixth off Tribe reliever Matt Childers. Mike Hessman doubled to left field, scoring Ryan Langerhans for a 7-5 lead. The Tribe rallied for three runs in the eighth. Corey Hart led off with a mammoth home run to left field, his third of the season off Braves reliever Mike Ramano. Mark Johnson then singled to left. Luis Figueroa attempted a sacrafice bunt and first baseman Ryan Jackson?s toss to pitcher Romano covering first base, got away for an error. One out later, Dave Krynzel singled to center, scoring Johnson to even the score at 7-7. Hardy then singled to center, but Figueroa was cut down at the plate by center fielder Langerhans. With two outs, Chris Magruder singled to right field, scoring Krynzel with what would be the winning run. Dan Reichert (1-0) picked up the win in relief and Jason Childers earned his third save. Mike Romano (0-1) was tagged with the loss for the Braves. The two teams meet again Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Jorge De La Rosa (0-0, 2.70 ERA) will start for Indianapolis against Ray Aguilar (0-0, 6.75) for Richmond. 10. Hart with the a deep bomb to right to lead off the 8th.
  11. Has there been any commentary about Hart's adjustment to the outfield?
  12. In huntsville, after giving up an infield single, balk, and 2-run double to JJ Stokes, Saenz has calmed down and struck out 5 in a row. otherwise prince got a infield single on a jam job. Edit: Make that 7k's in the last 8 batters. The announcer is very impressed with his stuff, good fast ball and nasty slider. Edit: He just gave a lead off walk to JJ Stokes in the 4th and now a bloop hit (big wind situation tonight) . Edit: He's done after a his 8th K. Strict pitch count, 3.1 IP 3 H 4 ER 1 BB 8K and a balk. R.Miller comes in and his 1st pitch is hit for a 2-run double, Nelson dived for it but missed. R.Miller 2nd pitch is smoked for another rbi double. Stars down 5-0 in the 4th.
  13. Sounds like it was good game. Funny, Jenkins is going to be the last regular to get his first dinger. Sheets, according to Uecker, was hitting 96-98 routinely???!!! His 99th pitch hit 98mph...
  14. As far as MLB.TV goes, last year all Brewer games were blacked out from Wisconsin viewers. I paid the 2.95 price for a day pass once looking for a game that was not being broadcast locally and was not allowed to watch. Now, if you use a credit card with an out of state address on it you might be able to cirrcumvent that, but be warned there is a 100.00 fine if caught. But, then again if they are checking your IP (which is more likely), and your not hack-tastic, you won't have a chance.
  15. I think Krynzel is just tired. He played and entire season in the hot, humid Southern League, then went to the 105 desert of Arizona. He's just got to be doggin it by now.
  16. Woops, double post, well at least I am at the mendoza line. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/grin.gif
  17. Weeks is starting at 2b...
  18. I chime in and say the scorers are being extremely kind to the home team. Helms should have an error. Ben should have 3er's. Defensive replacements are doing some damage. ROY needs just 8 more runs.
  19. Klinko pitches. Johnson hits homerun. Stars win 5-4. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif
  20. Mike Adams pitches. Jorgenson line drive single on 0-1 pitch. Niles hits for Craig House/Haus. Niles sac bunt on 2-1 pitch. Jorgenson moves to 2nd. Hall grounds out to 2b. Jorgenson moves to 3rd. Machado(?) grounds out to SS. Ok got a little time left.
  21. House/Haus pitching Gemoll strikes out swinging on 3-2 pitch. Varner on strikes out 3-2 pitch. Nelson strikes out on 2-2 pitch. This play by play has been brought to you by bored guy out of time. Later.
  22. Mike Adams pitching. Willingham stirkes out looking on 2-2 pitch. Ashby hits line drive single. Next batter strikes out swinging on 2-2 pitch. Polkavich stirkes out.
  23. Krembles reaches on error. Machado reaches on fielder's choice. Steals second goes to thrid on throwing error by catcher. Krynzel strikes out. J.J Hardy walks. New pitcher. House or Haus? Hardy steals 2nd. Corey Hart strikes out.
