  1. Daron also giving his vote for Obermueller in the 5th spot. If spring training spats mean anything, I'd have to agree.
  2. DP to end the 1st. royals up 1-0. The signal is better now.
  3. It's like listening to a game at the McDonalds drive thru. Oh, it just picked up power.
  4. It's a terrible feed and I don't recognize the voice. Royals up 1-0 in the first.
  5. OMG, WTMJ is dropping the game to cover the shooting.
  6. I thought the bases were loaded. How did the second guy score? I keep missing parts of the game due to late breaking news about a shooting in Brookfield.
  7. Ginter!!!!!!!!! and company!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Jenkins! Crew 2-0 I'll just beef this one up all by my lonesome.
  9. When is Lil 'Ben pitching?
  10. Well it's the thrid and still no game thread. Glover vs. Fossum Crew up 1-0
  11. Jim recalled Ned being surprised how good JJ looked (healthy)! And left it open that he could make the team out of spring training. That's enough to make this game worthwhile. Yeah, what's up with a suicide double steal when your #3 hitter is up?
  12. Nevermind, that's tomorrow. Blah.
  13. I thought this game was supposed to be on ESPN2? All I see is college football.
  14. Just got back myself. I have never even seen a booble head before so I guess it was worth a week worth of drinking money to watch this indy league event. I would bash the line up too, except Margruder and Durington provided most of the entertainment in the game. Polish sausage still tastes good. JDLR looked solid. I wasn't paying real close attention to his velocity but it seemed to sit at 90-93. In the first, ball 3 should have been strike 3 to Castillo. All in all I look forward to JDLR's next game.
  15. We appreciate those kind of priorties here.
  16. According to the web site there are tickets available from 17 and up, not sure how many you're looking for. What's the limit on standing room tickets anyway? I went to yesterday's game with a SRO ticket and it was OK when I could find a spot to stand. Pretty expensive for a sore back though, 15$ plus 6$ for ordering it over the phone (don't think you can buy SRO tickets online- I couldn't).

  18. I love that feeling where you're sitting at work and it dawns on you that you have no plans that evening and hey look, the Brewers are in town. See you there. Go Crew!
  19. I was at the game and I have to say it was the most engaged and excieted crowd I've ever expirienced, more so than any of the opening day's I've been to. This game was fun to be at just to see what Milwaukee would be like if it had a winner. When I went in 5 minutes before game time, there must have been a thousand waiting to buy tickets. Who the hell is Victor Santos and why is he fooling everyone? I've never seen him on TV so I have no sense of what he pitches like. This crowd was PUMPED going into the ninth. They believed they were going to win, very fun atmosphere. No fun trying to get out of the parking lot. P.S. Anybody here the cowbell?

  22. Perhaps this has been discussed a long time ago, but I was wondering about the site's thoughts on Hart batting so low in the order in Indy. Is it just a way of forceing him to work on his pitch recognition to take more walks with no protection? Or are they just sheltering him from offensive pressure to adapt to yet another postion change?
  23. What's the deal with Adams being used longer and longer in games? I thought he was being groomed to be a closer, now it looks like he is being prepared for middle relief or even starting. He might find himself in milwaukee quickly if he and the current staff keep pitching the way they have. Damn good line for him tonight.
