  1. For the life of me, I'm trying to figure out why at Miller Park why its always left field that's always trying to start the wave, other than "that's their job"
  2. Mets just tied it up! Top of 9! 6-6! HOORAY!and just took the lead...I'm laughing hysterically at the Classies IGT right now
  3. As far as clinching is concerned. I just hope its not Thursday. I'd prefer it to be at Miller Park, but for the players sake, I'd imagine they'd feel so much more gratified if they clinched on their own terms. On topic, I'm sure Narv Dog is anxious to do better in his previous start. Let's get that magic number down even further!!
  4. Gotta love Gomez's hustle. Diving for a ball up 8-1 in the 9th. Many a player would just play that on a hop and just give up on the play. Also, gotta love the brooms
  5. Brewer Runs so far:7 Cinci At bats so far: 6
  6. At the game on Thursday they showed a women on the big screen with the sign that read "Go Randy #8" It has been killing me and buddy trying to think who she could be referring too. Ryan Braun, Shane Victorino and Tim Masthay. I don't recall any of those ever being referred to as "Randy". Another Diego moment in the waiting, perhaps?
  7. Another thing to mention is that they are taking EXTREME precaution here. I have used the "insulin demonstration pens" in the past and I regularly use the lancets to check my blood sugar. It would literally take somebody purposely trying to get blood on the pen or lancet sticks for any transmission of any kind to be possible. In the 2-3 years of my condition I have yet to even come close to getting my own blood on anything other than what is regularly tossed which this nurse also did. On top of that, it would also require then next person to use the pen and have that blood some how can transferred over. The hole that the lancet creates trying to get a blood sample for a blood sugar level is so small, that it only lets a few microliters of blood out. Don't get me wrong, all the precautions should be taken because some people do get hit by lighting on 3 or 4 separate occasions, but that's pretty much what it would take for any thing to happen for those almost 2500 people.
  8. did Rock just make a jab at TLR making the comment that they must have missed the sign for the bunt up by 3 in the 8th?
  9. According to Yahoo, Furcal has a .288 career average and a .288 career average against the Brew Crew entering today.
  10. heh, I find it funny and comforting that RR and Prince don't act the way TLR and Albert would have if Albert got hit there
  11. There goes the drama of whether or not to mention the unmentionable
  12. I predict a current Brewer and a little known basketball player showcased after the next victory/cards loss
  13. Nice Sweep Brewers, lets keep those brooms for the Pirates!!
  14. and probably start George K. in Game 2 I'm guessing
  15. and the quick inning of work by Ax gives us 18 straight scoreless innings by the bullpen Edit: Apparently Yahoo forgot that George is Wolf's personal catcher in their little blurb about the triple play Fielder went home, where Kemp slid head first and was tagged out by Jonathan Lucroy
  16. heh, what a way to end the game!...and the beat continues one. Nice win Brew Crew! Not the most effective pitching outing by Wolfie but you can't complain when you throw up a giant goose egg on the board
  17. bout time one of those goes our way!! GREAT HIT BRAUNIE!!
  18. Considering how rare baserunners have been today, and the players involved, it was a horrible idea. Slow runner and a .150 hitter. Ran their way out of an inning. Well, I agree they did run their way out of the inning, but with cc not known for his power except for a blue moon Counsell Crush even if Counsell just pounded one into the ground, there is a runner on 2nd with only 1 out with Lucroy up to bat
