  1. That is an interesting stat. Runner on third with less than 2 outs scores 70% of the time.
  2. RR would never ever make a pitching change like this. May the real MVP please stand up. Mr Braun the IGT needs you to come though here.
  3. Way to back up the runs you just got Randy. We need to steal this one, and this series is far from over.
  4. Let's go now! Rickie please advance Prince at the very least. A two run shot would be better though.. wink wink
  5. To be honest, I have really liked Yuni's approach at the plate in the playoffs. He seems to be more patient and it is paying off for him. If he could find a way to consistently be patient through the ups and downs I think he could be an asset. What does this have to do with anything I said??
  6. BA talking about the tremendous power of Matt Holiday to right field. Come on man... that was a wind aided 340' HR.
  7. Where has the clutch hit gone. Ryan watches to balls he normally rips to right field go by, and then swings at junk. Pressing a bit....
  8. Because outside of Braun and Prince the offense has been in a slump all year. I can't remember even a small stretch where I was thinking man these Brewer's can mash. Corey Hart was 17th in the NL in OPS, Weeks was an all-star, so you may have been speaking in hyperbole but it was flat out wrong. Weeks injury really set him back. Not all year, post all-star break. On second thought it was mainly the Yuni/Casey blackhole that we all suffered through that makes those thoughts of zero offense come to the front of my mind.
  9. Wolf with a little beastmode. Too bad he hit it on a line or it would have gone out.

  11. Except he didn't hit the ball hard.Yes he did. Balls don't go that far if you don't get good wood. We don't hit the ball hard. Other than the 6 run inning, we have done NOTHING. There is a reason Yuni pops out at a historic pace.
  12. HAHAHAHAHA RR called that hit by Jay perfectly placed between Braun and Kotsay. You are an epic fail.
  13. Our ace gave up four because of our managers decision to start Kotsay in CF. If he didn't want to start Morgan he has to go with Gomez. Gomez gets to that Jay single with ease. I honestly think GoGo could have tracked down that Pujols double as well. It was in the air a long time. Kotsay only ended up about 10 feet from it, and I can almost guarantee GoGo could have made up that distance with his speed. I get the Kotsay start, but he can't be put in CF especially in a game were every run matters. He should have been in right for Hart, and JHJ could have lead-off. RR is completely clueless. The no hits from the 5th inning on is also hurts, but it wouldn't have mattered with a 4-2 lead now would it?
  14. Not really, though it would be nice.It pretty much is. They put all their eggs in this basket by throwing Yo this game. If they had thrown Wolf this game, they'd at least have Yo vs. Lohse tomorrow and a big advantage there. Instead, they're three outs away from Randy Wolf being the only person standing in the way of the Cards taking a 3-1 lead.No way Yo doesn't pitch this game.
  15. or a seat on the bench. Kotsay should have started for him over Morgan.
  16. HAWK! That was huge, I feel like that was game there if they got a hit.
